1. Facing the sea at most room locations
2. Three nice pools for children, adults, etc
3. Reasonably equipped gym, saunas and jacuzzis (free)
4. Hotel buildings are reasonably spaced and carpark spaces spacious
5. Staffs mostly cheerful, patient and greet guests well
1. Swimming pool closes at 1930 hrs. Could be later at 2100 hrs or 2200 hrs (normal sleeping time to avoid noises from children playing in the pool) Travelling by road from the South by Mersing route took about 7 hrs which was mood spoiler. Further, it was mostly two way traffic. The North South Highway or air travel are the alternatives but the route is longer and more dear. However, the view of the rustic kampungs (village) with the livestock grazing was nice but could also be a hazard as the animals would use the road indiscriminately. Nevertheless, on comparing the hotel facilities with the few others in the immediate vicinity, it can be said to be value for money at the promo rate that I got.

3. Shopping only feasible at the Kuantan Town

3.Sand flies on beach Check-in was fast as it took less than 5 minutes.
However, 1st room we checked-in was very old & dark, and it only had partial sea view. We requested for a change and on the next day we were given a newer, brighter room with full sea view.
Even though there were many Chinese & Malay seafood restaurants nearby, we decided to eat mostly at the hotel because of the good quality food ad excellent service by F&B staff.
Even though the rooms feel dated, they are in the process of renovating them, so the conditions should be much better after it's completed.
The beach is on of the nicest we've experienced (this includes beaches in Bali, Phuket & Krabi) and we had fun playing in the sand and in the shallow waters catching small fish!
Restaurant Tip : You can eat at the hotel or just outside. If you have a car, you can take a short drive to Cherating Bay & have a meal at the Duyong Restaurant where they serve good local & western food at a reasonable price.

A nice beach with nice scenery in the evening, walking along the beach, chit chat with friends, collect some seashell make our 10 year friendship trip unforgettable.
Hotel is clean, comfortable and big enough for 2 person. Just a minute of walk to reach the seaside, its very convenient. The Chinese seafood near the entrance of legend hotel is delicious and the food is delicious.
Nice trip with nice memory to be remember forever.
