Huge Mac Resort with everything just right

Wow, what a massive resort. Everything just went so smooth from check in to check out and even bicycle storage. The restaurant was fantastic, the breakfast menu/bar extensive, pool and beach really great too. Perhaps the only thing to say is that what if it is full or near capacity... there would be millions of tourists here! Also, some odd ridges here and there on which I hurt my toes a few times! But serioously, a well organised operation.

big resort with nice beach facilities

a big resort type hotels,rooms are spacious but standard furniture and facilities,no night entertainment,good for a family with young kids,food options are limited,one swimming pool for adults and may be children only(too crowded) with another pool at the water park (for young kids.too crowded and noisy but lots of fun to kids)

Nice beach resort for family with young kids
Water Park and big compound

Upon checked in, we proceeded to the studio suite on the 5th floor of Block J. The suite was quite well maintained except that the phone wasnt working. Other than that, everything else was working as expected.
The water park with its water slides and coconut falls kept us occupied for most of the time during our stay. We arrived on Sunday and most guests had checked out by the time we went to the water park. So basically, there wasnt a big crowd. However, we were shocked the next morning when 2 bus loads of teenagers arrived. They werent hotel guests but apparently the resort sold access to the water park to schools around the area. Imagine 30-40 teenagers running around and we had to watch our young kid from being knocked over.

Great resort for family weekend getaways

This is the 4th times I've been to this hotel. Nothing much to add.
Love its water playgrounds and family (read: kid) oriented facilities .
Included breakfast is also quite nice.
Saturday night is very eventful due to the large guests turn out. Sunday is almost deserted, because 90% check out on Sunday. Which I like better because of the quietness.
Some parts still having on-going renovation.

This hotel is a good getaway for families with children both for its water theme parks as well as the many family activities. One can do sea sports as well as other activities to keep themselves occupied during their stay here.

Check out seafood restaurants at nearby Sg Rengit

Lovely hotel and service with a smile

this is my 3rd time staying at lotus desaru, everything looks good. new restaurant by the sea for breakfast and dinner was nice. need to have more activities in the resort for the guest in future if not a bit boring only play in water park and the beach. front desk was excelent but other staff need improvement on the language (english). breakfast menu need a bit of improvement, almost the same in my three visit to this place.
Restaurant Tip:
Go to Sungei Rengit Town for a sea food lunch or dinner. Nice food and good price.

Decent for short family getaway
Suite comes with kitchenette, microwave oven and fridge. Overall clean

the suites were spacious and the bedrooms were clean. is a big resort which has 2 swimming pools and 1 water themepark which serves the hotel customers well. the breakfast area is near the beach with generous field of carpet grass suitable for family picnics.
2 things that wasnt that ideal were that the rooms are a bit old (althought clean) and that the selection of breakfast was very limited.
overall will recommend for short family getaway.

Quiet weekend getaway!

We can see some upgrading works being carried out in the resort. The room is comfy, great for a undisturbed stay. Lots of beach activities available.
A feedback:
The size of the TV is too small! Perhaps a upgrade to the common LCD TV is necessary?
Restaurant Tip:
For those who drove here. You can head over to Sungei Rengit for fresh seafood. Its about 30km away from the Resort. Just follow the signs, pretty straight forward.
