Great place for family stay
Nice swimming pools and beach

Came to this hotel with 3 children age between 11 to 15 years, the place is great for them. Enough outdoor activities to keep them occupied. The theme pool was great, except the water is so clean. The other pool was nice and clean. Room was basic but generally clean and spacious.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Fruits Farm and Fire Fly tours are nearby to the hotel. Only 10 to 15 mins drive away.

Nice place for fun and relaxation!

we had a fun-filled 2d 1n stay. enjoyed ourselves, especially the children, who had a great time with the water slides.

Good location for a short getaway for families with children.

Good Hotel but older furniture

good hotel but all the furniture is quite old. the aircond is not in good condition. the room price quite expensive compare the conditional of the rooms. it not value for the money. food is normal and but the service is very good. the theme park is also not too great but the rule for using it is too straight for guest to wear the tag everytime.

the place a bit run down-swimming pool is big and a bit dirty-place its for the kids but not for adults-the food at the restaurant very expensive-getting food at the wee hours are hard to get.not much of the facilities for adults to pass the time-no free wi-fi-/internet not reaally user friendly for business guest-the services are good -got tram to pick you up from point to point not bad arrangment-

Great short getaway with family

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the children. We had the opportunity to join in as viewers in Singapore Secondary School Choir Competition. Great food at the Thai restaurant, but had a disappointed version of chicken rice at the main restaurant.
Restaurant Tip:
should try the seafood restaurant at Sungai Rengit which is about 1/2 hour drive from the hotel

Beautiful resort with very friendly staff
Quiet and clean place. Beach cleanliness was always maintained and staff present are always very friendly.

was planning to take a breather from the city life and desaru was the perfect setting. the resort made it up for it and the beach was pristine with reasonably clear waters. Chilling by the beach was great. As it wasn't crowded, there was still enough sun tanning chairs but if it were crowded there might not be enough. It would be perfect if staff by the cafes operate at the beach as well. For the price of the place, it was worth it. Room was good. couldn't have asked for more.

We are very happy staying at Lotus Desaru Beach Resort as the services is great, the friendly staff make us feel comfortable and it is just like we are going back home. Besides, the facilities is very complete and interested, me and my family enjoy with it, and my little niece,who is 4 years old now also having fun there until don't wish to back home,lol...anyway thank you for providing such wonderful memory for us, and definitely Lotus Desaru Beach Resort will definitely be our first choice when we re-visit Desaru again,thank you very much

spacious rooms with good food nearby

Love the rooms, beds are comfortable, lovely pools and beach. The children live taking the buggy too. The trip to the seafood restaurants was worthy it though it was a 30 min drive each way. The only down side was that hot water for shower ran out after 3ppl, had to wait for a while before there was hit water again.

Family friendly resort

We are enjoying staying in this resort with our two young children age below 7. The room is very spacious especially with two double storey. My kids enjoying play in the water parks. However, we would like to highlight one of the slide in this location is very steep and danger for children.
The food in newly opening Rhu Bar is nice but not too suitable for young children, eg: should have kids meal.
I would like to suggest to the management of the resort if they could replace all gaming machine and renovate the kids center as both are very old.
Overall, we enjoy to stay there.

Decent place to stay with young family because there are things to do eg. Water slides, bike rental, para sailing, mini arcade, games stalls, jet ski etc.
cons- limited range of food, no complimentary laundry bags & toothbrushes
