The nature and good golf courses It is a lot of people. Hotel old and in numbers a smell
It is better to live in Kuala Lumpur and to come here till the evening. A fog and dampness - discomfort.

Spacious room, nice surroundings Lounge fan at room 2515 not working properly, can't adjust the speed hence was too hot. The surroundings is perfect for honeymoon couples. The openair swimming pool is pleasant. Room is spacious and clean although there is a stale smell at the hall way to the room which may be due to poor ventilation. Suggest some air refreshner or possible allowance for improvement ventilation. The room price is reasonably however the morning buffet could include a bigger varities of food selection.
Restaurant Tip : My favourite choice would be the food court at First World where the varieties and cost are fantastic.

Customer oriented staff serve thier customers with proffesional approached. Good view from the hotel room. Furniture well maintained. A sumptious food and food is ready all at all time. Free ticket for cable ride to Genting peak This is my firt time booking at Awana Genting Highlands Golf & Country Resort Genting Highlands using Agoda hotel booking system and the rpice is right to my budget. After check-in in the rooom, the room is well furnished and tidy. When my daughters opened the window, a fresh air rushing into our room. A deserve place to rest, fun and enjoy for the whole family.

We have come from India to Malaysia for our Honey Moon. The experience of Awana Hotel is wonderful. The location of the Hotel is awesome & moreocer the rooms are also located to the best site view. The ammeneties of the room are more than suffcient. we really enjoyed a very pleasant stay at awana for our honey moon.Room services are very fast & respond found is excellent. Shuttle service to skyway as well as genting highlands is also one on the best feature of the Hotel.Food Quality is best suited to every taste. Currency Exchange facility is not avalaible. We had a very plaesant stay at Awana Hotel for our Honey Moon. By the services provided we have not faced any problem during our stay. Everyone can trust the Hotel for their pleasant stay. We would definitely further like to enjoy the stay at Awana.

Panoramic mountain view with lots of greens. Constant drone of moving vehicles. It's situated midoint upu the genting highland. The surroundings are comfortable and cool. There was however traffic noise that was throughout the day.

Its a great experience for us who have always been in Singapore to get out of the city area and enjoy an outskirt environment yet with Awana's facilities that provided urban facilities. The weather is definately a plus point where we get to be living amoung the clouds. Especially in the morning, the temperature is not too cold and cooling. The swimming pool among the trees create a great relaxation and waitress and waiters are responsive. We had a great stay and look forward for more to come. Thanks!

Comfortable & cosy inside out of Awana some stuff could be too robotic which are not too attentive to visitors It is always a new experience at Awana even have had visited for numerous times. Always the choice of putting up at Awana, having a good relaxing weekend at Genting Highlands
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : One Stop Leisure Spot even just at awana itself.... Food, recreation, night activities, pub you have them just there for a short weekend stay for the couples & family.

the Cable car Tickets is provided by the Hotel Location,: its located under the Mounting of Jinting High land quite loction with frindly staft,i have been there as part of my honymoon and the upgrade my free of charge.
it is locatd under the Genting high land.
the hotel is a Good hotel.
the Genting Hgh land is wonderfull place to spend one night or you can vist it and go back to KL in the Same day

The suite room that we stay is quite spacious, though it doesn't have a great view as we are in level 5. Furniture require refurbish, shower area no hanging facilities. THe fridge in our room was quite noisy when the compressor cut in. Dinning room for breakfast was crowded, with many tables reserve for tour group. Overall, it's a pleasent stay, it is recommended for those who intended to visit Genting not for Casino on their main itinery. This place is quiet and not crowded as compare with those in the peak.There is a Strawberry farm located not far away from this hotel (about 2km away, at Gohthong Jaya). It’s a good place to visit especially for kids.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A drive to Gohthong Jaya to visit the Strewberry farm, you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, mushroom there.

i love the view around the hotel and clean in the room. the receptionist are not very smiley face and the golf reception were not welcome me. i think that the human resources for your high quality hotel are not in balance. The least but the most important thing is the tv size is to small and receiver for the station are very bad. please do something about it!!! I mean , the tv must be replace for adding more luxury in the hotel. must have asto!!! please put someone who can handle the human resource for friendly behavior in your luxury hotel!!

Golf Course view, Senic view from Rajawali Restuarant, Spacious and clean rooms, Complimentary Genting Skyway tickets,food specially breakfast, away from the maddening crowd at genting highlands. swimming pool is average, but kids pool is pretty cute, good if you have kids with you, Golf facilities are only for members and not the guest you need to pay to use golf course facilities. It was a real pleasure staying at Awana Genting, we had a superior suite and the view from the room was amazing, thanks to the open terrace to our suite. There was no AC but dude who who needs an AC when the temperature is around 15 deg. Celcius. It is value for money and the best part was enjoying the cable car ride 4 times since its complimentary. Earlier i was dissapointed for not getting a room at any Genting highlands hotel but Awana was a blessing in disguise. It is not on the same level of genting but there are plenty of Taxi's available at Genting sky way who would charge not more than 10 Riggints to Awana, plus there is shuttle bus service to holet every 30 mins on weekends and 1 hour on weekdays. I would suggest families and honeymooners to go for this hotel and avoid the maddening crowd at the top plus who in the world gets to stay ar a golf resort by paying pennies. someone once complianed that the first world hotel is nothing more than an elite refugee camp and well i agree with them. for me Awana Genting is the best place around.
Hotel Feature Tip : take a walk around the golf course in the morning before it starts to rain.

it is interesting to spend few days in a special place which has a lot of nice facilities this hotel has a nice view that shows us a beautiful places, such as; green mountains, spacious fields of grass and foggy weather. so, choosing the higher floors will help you to see like these places. the hosts of this hotel were very helpful. they gave me a pleasure time when staying there. the facilities are good for spending vacation. For examples, gyms, cafe, spa, golf field and resturant. the shuttle bus is useful and free to transfer from the the hotel to the skyway which the hotel was given the free ticket for this skyway where leads to the high land genting hotel. i hope i come back in the coming holidays.

If you are into gambling , you may not pick this as you would require a bus and then a cable car to get to your gambling spot or your amusement park. In general, I love this hotel because it's very comfortable and i would come back again to relax.
Nightlife Tip : You may need to plan an hour beforehand to reach the casino if you're considering taking the complimentary bus and cable car.

No 24 hour shop that sells necessities like toiletries, medication, etc.
Hotel front line not thoughtful. When we approached him at the reception counter at night to ask for help in getting Panadol, he replied briskly that we have to go down to town to buy. Overall, our stay at Awana is pleasant. The accommodation is lovely and the view outside our hotel is beautiful too. We love the cool weather.
We enjoyed the Skyway trips very much but we could not find directions in Genting to show us the way back to Awana late at night. We spent so much time asking around but no one seemed able to give us correct directions.
The food at the cafetaria is quite limited and expensive.
The garden could have more ameneties such as tennis courts or basketball courts, children playground, etc.
It would be nice if Awana Hotel has an activity room for kids and adults to play boardgames, mahjong games, etc.
Nevertheless, the reasonable price and pleasant atmosphere are two major considerations for us to spend our holidays there again.

Swimming Pool was under repair Our stay at Awana was most pleasant except for some very noisy disturbance outside our appartment on the early morning of 07/11/09, about 6.00am - someone was working with a very cranky elektrik motor. Another diappointment - the pool was close for repair. Otherwise all was well and the staff was friendly.
