We had a great time at Awana and Genting Highlands. It has a relaxing atmosphere and didn't have the cramped feel of First world Hotel. It was close to both cable car lines with free shuttle service to them as well as to/from First world hotel. The pool is fun even for the kids and you get a nice view of the mountain scenery if you're staying in the tower section of the hotel. The Deluxe room is huge and has ample space even with two queen size beds. Since the rooms can be located quite far from the lobby, it is recommended that you use the Trolley service (Tipping optional).

Have visited the hotel a few times before and what is noticeable is the lack of maintenance of rooms. Whilst there appears to be a refurbishment programme going on in certain areas of the hotel, the room we stayed in was certainly not up to the standard of a 4 star accommodation.
