Good location & hotel for family vacation

Its really great to go for a short trip to genting highland during New Year. Me & my family had great time. Most of the time we were at the hotel, enjoying the facilities & nice view. I brought my 1 year old daughter & she liked the pool. I would like to thank agoda.com for giving me affordable hotel rate & awana genting for comfortable service.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel provide 24 hours shuttle bus service to genting, so u dont have to trouble yourself driving up.

A good place to stay for relaxation with it's own amenities within the resort. Sadly WIFI was not available in the rooms. I booked the one room Condo, didn't know there was no bathtub. Wish there was one though. Travelling to and fro to the top is a bit of hassle when there's a crowd although there's shuttle service or a cab would do it. Enjoyed the heated swimming pool and the breakfast. The restaurant overlooking the horizon was lovely. Overall it was satisfying but I was looking forward to more and a better outcome stay.

Awana is a great place to stay at genting highland. Have a great view in the morning and a delicious breakfast. I like the swimming pool with warm water provided so that i can have my great days with my children over there.

Nice hotel to stay in , good breakfast. Nice bed. Nice scenery. I can see the golf course fron my room. But it's a bit far to walk from check in counter to room. Easy to check out. No need to que just to check out. I have paid everything online beforehand & the good thing is I done have to give the deposit.

The hotel has great views overlooking the golf course. The superior room has two double beds, able to accomodate four persons, ideal for a family. The only complaint was that the room was still uncleaned from the previous guest's check out when we first went into the room. The housekeeping staff told us to wait at another room (which was also booked by us for the night) until the housekeeping is done. Other than that, it was an overall pleasant stay.

we stayed in awana genting for the new year. we relied on their shuttle service for transport to the first world resort...bad idea. most of the time we had to wait an hour or more for the shuttle because it was too full. we had to wait for more than two hours for the shuttle to go back to the hotel after new year's eve celebration. people were shoving, shouting, and fighting their way into the bus. brawls almost erupted. the management should have anticipated the number of guests using the shuttle service and prepared more buses or trips...i'm sure this is not the first time this happened.
the scenery and the fact that the hotel was away from the noise of the main resort was one of the reasons why we chose awana...but after the shuttle bus experience...we will definitely not be returning.
the hotel rooms were very old. the sheets were torned and stained, and the carpet very dirty.
for the price we paid (price of a five star hotel), we expected so much more.
