Serene environment .. great view!
quiet and calm ambiance .. not hectic like in GH

speedy check-in and check-out process. Good food... great ambiance... nice warm pool .. kids had an enjoyable time!
Travel tip:
You can stay in Awana and use shuttle bus to ferry you to genting highland.. they got flexible schedules.. so no need to travel up to GH.

We had been several times to Genting Highlands but this is the first time staying in Awana Genting Highlands Golf & Country Resort. It is a very convenient staying in this hotel due to welcome by smile from the staff and the location is just a few minutes from the highland. The main thing that I really concern are the cleanliness and I really satisfied about it. The room is spacious as my kids love it very much. Thinking about coming again for the next school holiday. Its a worth of money. Keep it up the good job!

Very nice hotel, good location, free shuttle bus to genting skyway and first world hotel. Kind staff, very nice mountain view room. The only concern is that WiFi is not free.

Breath taking views but we received untidy rooms!!

I am abit partial to this hotel as I had previously stayed in this hotel for 4 days on our first anniversary. So this time around I brought my parents along for a short vaccation. Check in was very quick. We got our room keys and got high floors as requested but revived a shock when the doors were open - the most untidy rooms I have ever seen - not one but both our rooms were messy!! What I must insist on the hotel staff to provide room keys only once the rooms house keeping is complete. Because this is your guests first impression so you would need to work on it. On calling the reception we were provided with a room that' was tidy an then had to wait for 1 hour while the other room gets tidied up. But unfortunately that took away almost 2 hours of our already short trip.
Anyways - didn't appreciate the way the reception desk attendant insisted that I wait for housekeeping.
Buffet breakfast was good- wide range a food to choose from.
Staff was okay- could be more attentive with a smile. SMILE IS IMPT.
Restaurant Tip:
Great tulang soup and laksa - give it a try! And the best cheesecake ever - rajwali restaurant.

Very good location , booking with agoda, the check in was really fast, hotel reception already get room key ready. The hotel do provide shutter bus service to genting. The room is very comfortable , 2 queen size beds in a deluxe room . The buffet breakfast have variety of food choice, tasty . Definitely will plan for next visit.

The hotel sites in the middle height of genting highland. It has the shuttle bus once an hour to the highland. The view is excellent, and the air is fresh & cool. There're indoor & outdoor carparks, very convenient. Unlike the hotels as first hotel & others, Awana is quiet at the daytime, however, at night, the cars & motorcycles which go to highland are very noisy. The engines are quite loud. Another point is the price. I asked the receipt when i checked out, and i found its about S$30 cheaper than the one via Agoda. In total, Awana is worthy to stay.

Nice stay but it is mid way to the top of Genting. Room is big and spacious but a bit old. The check in can only be done at 2pm and it is very inflexible - we were there at 12pm and had to wait 2 hours just to check in. Very exasperating indeed.
