Although we had a short period of stay it is worth it, good buffet breakfast, weather, amenities, and service. I also want to stressed out having a convenience store just inside the hotel vicinity is strategic at least guests can buy something which they missed to bring in vacation.

Big and comfortable but far away from Genting Ctr

pricing of cafe too expensive, but overall ok..price of the cafe quite expensive,and not much choices. Out of the centre area, but shuttle bus provided in every hour per trip, so actually not a big problem on the location. We book for club suite room, big and comfortable, the room make me surprised!

The room is surprisely in a very good condition for a relatively old hotel. The room is clean and comfortable and very big and spacious too. The only thing that was missing in the room was a bath tub.

Quiet hotel, beautiful room

The beds in the room were big and so was the room. However, the bathroom was too small for my liking. The breakfast spread was excellent and staff were friendly. It is secluded and away from the busy theme park area, a good choice if u want to relax and unwind in the cold. A little on the expensive side though.

The entire place was pretty nice but it was difficult to travel up to Genting Main Shopping area.
The shuttle bus was confusing and no staff is willing to help. When i asked a few time, they simply say its not by them, need to Bus Company.
We wanted in vain with a few families to come back to the Hotel and it was past midnight. The last night we had to squeeze with unfriendly Indians Families and I scolded the Indian man so that he will sit and not move around.
The shuttle service was EXTREMELY BAD.

Great weather and fabulous scenery there.Club Suite was very spacious! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the free shuttle bus service made it convenient for everyone to get to Genting Highlands. There were many courts for various sports available too. Only thing was that the hotel breakfast was almost the same everyday. All in all, its a perfect place for one who wants a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

I went to Genting Highlands for cycling, so the fact that this hotel is located a few hundred meters below the casino and amusement park didn't bother me, but it probably would bother those who want to visit these places as it requires either taking a shuttle bus or a taxi. Generally the hotel has clearly seen better days. While the rooms are spacious, a renovation of the outdated furniture would be advisable.

I've always stayed at the Awana whenever my wife & I decide to have a break in Genting highlands, for the main reason that it is the most value for money resort hotel in that area. The rooms at the tower block is very comfortable and decent enough for a good getaway while the breakfast is of good quality and restaurants serve good food. I recommend the Korean restaurant which serves authentic and affordable cuisines.

The environment of the hotel is fantastic

The hotel looks aged, but the friendly staff make up the differences. The gold course view from our room was excellent!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go up Genting Highland and enjoy yhe outdoor and indoor theme park.
