Good, but could be better.
The last time I visited this hotel was more than 5 years ago. And when I recently pay a visit to the hotel again, I don't think there has been much of a change. Self check-in kiosk was actually a brilliant idea considering how busy this hotel could be with groups of tourists from travel agents, as well as other individual or family travelers. However, if you book via Agoda, you will still need to approach one of the staffs to have your booking registered manually to the machine. After that, you can proceed with check-in and adding a couple extras (RM 5 each) to your booking, such as room with view, connecting room, early check-in, etc. The room was a bit old, but comfortable enough even though it didn’t have plenty of space. The items provided were: 2 glasses, a pitcher, 2 towels, a shower cap, and 2 liquid soap dispensers. The soap can be used as shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap. There was no toothbrush or toothpaste. There were water dispensers in every corner of the corridors so you can get water, hot or tepid, using the pitcher provided. If you need coffee or tea, or extra package of toiletries, you can go to the vending machine near the lobby, right across Watsons. Each package costs RM 5. The staffs, while most of them are friendly, not all of them are helpful. I needed to print the Aerobus ticket which was booked online and sent to me via email. I didn’t know it would need to be printed-out until the staff at the ticket counter (in Mushroom Farm) said so. The lady said they have no printer or internet connection to check online booking so things were done manually there. And those who booked the ticket online would need to submit the ticket print-out directly to the bus driver. I went back to the hotel, approached one of the staff in the information desk and asked if I can print the ticket.
