Colourful Hotel With A Spectacular Theme Park View
10
Wonderful stay and service. To keep up with the number of guests is not an easy task, however The First World Hotel does it with flying colors. No pun intended.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It is a must to get the Indoor and Outdoor theme parks passes.

Nice hotel with a small rooms
Genting Highland indoor theme park situated just downstairs.

The queue for check in was sooo loongg, should use the check in counter instead. After they give us our room number, turn out that our room is just nearly finish clean up, have to wait around another ten minutes. The room is a little bit to small, but the bed size is okay for us. The bathroom is a little bit old. The view is quite okay. The breakfast variation is no variation, same kind of food every morning.

Convenient hotel to all entertainment areas
Entertainment and restaurants just a short walk away, some open all day and night. Direct bus service from KL Sentral. Super express check out!
5.7
Having actually visited Genting Highlands before, this time we set about staying overnight. With many of the hotels catering for Casino buffs, we had a couple of options and decided on First World!
Not only was the hotel the largest recorded in the Guiness Book of Records, it was also the most packed of the all. The check in felt more like a cross between a bus terminal and a bank! Though the wait for the number took less than 30 minutes, we were already in the room within 10 minutes from the lobby.
The rooms were outdated and still had old cubed TVs. With no air conditioning, the temperature was maintained by the fan or by just opening the window to let in the breeze from the highland. Our room's view was not very pleasing and directly opposite other rooms. You could actually see inside the other rooms only if the curtain was open. What the room had was a comfy bed a small dressing table and mirror, luggage rack and an open closet, safe and refrigerator. No Internet access was provided. Toilets had your basic dorm style.
Although the food in the individual outlets and Casinos were good, the breakfast buffet was poor. The restaurant setting looked like a university cafeteria than a proper food court arrangement and although the food was split between veggie and with meat, the overall hygiene was far from satisfactory. This is a place where you can really see the multi-cultural mixture of Malaysia.
To summarize, the overnight stay was fine as we need not worry about the limited space in the room. Be sure to book bus tickets early as they fill up very fast!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
An overnight stay should give you enough time to enjoy the facilities at the hotel, with visits to one of the Casinos as well as enjoying the indoor amusements and food.
If you plan on going to the Theme Park, it would be best to stay for 2 nights to allow you to have a full day riding the rides.
