Hotel in the sky
cool climate similir to spring season, area very well maintained, very efficient service. very nice view.

It was a very pleasant stay as there was ample parking space, lots of food choices, availability of theme park, very considerate pricing of hotel room which worth much more than the price, very inducive climate, and I guess this hotel was the most efficient and systematic especially the 'check-out' system using electronic machine.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The area was considered self sufficient with facilities from banking to medical as well as entertainment.

Very big entertainment hotel
indoor theme park just down there

we booked 6 rooms in first world hotel, a little bit disappointed with the small room, 14" tv and no view from the window. but stay in the largest hotel with over 6000 rooms with budget price is still worthed. casino and theme park is just down floor. the shops opens until midnite and many 24 hour restaurants there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the hotel itself is a main attraction with colorful appearance, more over it is the world's largest hotel in number of rooms. many attractions just down floor in indoor theme park. casino, bowling, 3d cinema, pavillion theatre, believe it or not gallery etc.

the hotel is great new modern style.. the service its good and a good spot hotel who love shopping.. you can shopping at platinum mall just go down by a lift..

Big Room, but lacked basic amenities

we traveled to genting to get away from the brutal temperatures of kuala lumpur. be prepared for cloudy and rainy conditions during the winter seasons, but enjoy the cool temps and mountain scenery.
i frankly was shocked that for a hotel that is rated in the guiness book at having the most hotel rooms (6115), it lacked cable tv and wifi. we were forced to rely upon the wifi connection at the nearby starbucks, but that proved unreliable. additional wifi is available at mcdonalds and kenny rogers restaurants.
genting is all about the gambling, eating, and shopping. i didn't find much value to our stay there and have had far better accomodations for half the price. not recommended for a another visit, unless gambling is on your agenda.
i will say that the view is amazing, and i enjoyed the fog/clouds rolling through the resort. there is no ac, but it's not really necessary there. we stayed on the 24th floor in one of the higher priced rooms. bed was decent, but not up to par for the price of the room.
they need more entertainment options, such as organized tours of the surrounding area and maybe some eco tourism. i will say the gondola ride was amazing, if not a bit harrowing given the small size of the gondolas. so much potential that remains unmet at this location.

i like my stay in this hotel very much. this hotel offers me a comfortable stay and makes me feel like a home. it's very convenient with the great location as there are many shops and restaurants nearby. however, the room is a bit smaller and insufficient of equipments. despite of having such small matters, the room is cheap and affordable for many people.

Great Hotel with Peaceful View on top of the Hill.
Beautiful Place like paradise.

It nice to have relax time at Genting Highlight and enjoyed fascinating entertainment and Green nature view on top of the hill.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Very marvelous attraction especially for outdoor games and indoor games and to get family together on pricless time and relax from daily jobs duty.

Lovely hotel with good service
largest among other room type in first world hotel, less crowded breakfast lounge

there are 2 towers in first world hotel, we first get the world club room in tower 1 which has no bathtub, after complain to the reception counter, they change immediately and send the new room key to me personally to my room, and i got the world club room in tower 2, which can't enjoy the theme park view (while tower 1 world club has), but we like the room which is new, quite big and my son enjoy the bathtub very well.
near to indoor themepark, and the world club enjoy the breakfast seperately, which i thought is good, less crowded and can enjoy, while the service is better
Hotel Feature Tip:
This is worth stay only for weekday, weekend rate is much more expensive

Hotel for Casino lovers or for children
Enjoyed shopping though very few shops

Would have enjoyed better if there was a place for older couples like my octogenarian parents to hang out. there was no massage service in the rooms like Bangkok.
Shopping Tip:
the newly NIKE outlet store had some great offers but be sure you know the prices well before you buy. Too bad no WIFI available for a shopper to check if such items are worth it.
