I stay at xyz new tower. The room is not so small. the location a bit far to casino if compare to tower 1 and tower 2. But it is ok to me.

Most happening hotel in Genting
Theme park, Shopping and Casino
I would say the hotel is most convenient to do anything, like eat, shop, gamble, play its all just under the hotel area. Amazing.

Misplaced Priority
1st world hotel is a classic example of how an establishment should never prioritise hardware over software. While the architecture and facilities are stunning by any standards, the same can't be said about the service, it's an awful letdown, anyone walking at the lobby or the 2nd floor will notice the facial and body language of the staffs, look like caged animals forced to entertain for the sake of being salaried. It's a pity that the 1st world genting management don't see that their greatest asset are their staffs and not the worldy facilities in place. My wife and I decided to celebrate our baby daughter's 1st birthday in Genting but was left disappointed by miles. To begin with... we stayed in room 8924, the room's floor was not swept, the previous occupants must have had a party, the info counter guy at the lobby did not know if there is any bar open beyond 11pm, (wanted to watch the Arsenal Vs Barcelona Champions League match) until one of the guest told me that McDonald 5 floors above is showing the match live at 4pm. The guys at the children play centre Rio Float and Reindeer ride were robots in human skin, The police officers need to understand that they are not in the midst of thieves but holiday-makers, little bit of hospitality won't hurt. Anyway...my advice to those going to 1st World hotel... be prepared to be stunned by genting's worldly wonders but don't set your expectations too high on the service standards.
