It took 1hr 25 minutes to check in, had to wait for a number received from another desk, sat in crowded reception area. The room was clean but very basic, no fridge, no cupboard, no jug. The window was large but looked straight into the room opposite about 10 feet away and appeared to be situated in a deep well which let no light in at all. This was the deluxe room, god knows what you get for less. The only good thing was the ride up in the cable car but if I had known would have gone straight back down and driven somewhere else.

Cheapish, nice toilet/bathroom.

The rooms' size are actually okay, to me, although many of the people here commented it as the smallest room they've ever stayed at. Linens are clean and tidy, washroom as well. Despite the lack of basic necessities, it has been up to standard for a 3-star hotel. Worth staying!

Convenient location, inside a big shopping mall and an indoor theme park. Neat and tidy room.

Lack of basic necessities like shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer etc. Called reception for help, but no one turns up at the end, may be they have too many visitors to accommodate.

I must say the staff is friendly and well trained. The hotel really can handle lots of customers. It is cheaper than other hotels, and it is newer than others. It will be the best hotel in Genting if the hotel can decide to open more counters for check-in. The facilities are all in a good condition, big space for the customers. Please change the type of food - it is boring.

It is clean.

The hotel is too noisy and it is far from my room to the lift, had to walk till I was really tired. During check-in, the staff works really slow, they served 100+ people and made us wait for two hours. We paid thats why had to wait or else I would just walk away to another hotel. The food at the restaurant was boring. I paid MR50 for buffet dinner and it only had a few type of food

• Hotel Feature Tip : Don't spend money at the restaurant. Try to go to other hotels as the check-in speed is like a tortoise, really!

Very cold place. Don't forget to bring your jacket.

A hotel with a theme park and casino Guest Rating: 3.3

Overall it's quite a pleasant stay. I think most people will stay for the casino since the room just give the very basic needs. The room we stayed had a window with mountain view, but we almost can't see anything at all since the fog covered the whole mountain almost the entire day. Can be said, room with or without window gave no difference.

• Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you're going for the theme park, don't buy the ticket straight for indoor and outdoor (package) before you make sure that the outdoor theme park open. But if you already buy the package, go straight to the outdoor theme park first, since the weather in Genting can change in matter of hours and the theme park could close any time and your ticket will just be a waste. Last important things prepare coins to rent a locker. The machine only accept coins.

Hotel with best view in Genting Guest Rating: 3.8

This is an excellent hotel in Genting with great views of the highlands. But I would advise not to book on the highest floor as it can get very cold and you may not see anything because of the mist.
