Variety of choice for breakfast.
The staff is not so efficient and friendly.
Excelsior hotel is located at a strategic location which is in the centre of the Ipoh town city. There are plenty of restaurant surrounding the hotel area which are just 5-10 minutes walk distance. We were lucky to get a room at 10th floor which was newly refurbished. The hotel also provides breakfast which has lots of food variety to choose and it taste good!.

Excelsior hotel is one of the hotel in Ipoh city where it was located at a strategic location which is in the centre of the Ipoh town city. There are plenty of restaurants surrounding the hotel area which are just 5-10 minutes walking distance. The hotel also provides breakfast which has lots of food variety to choose and it taste good! Overall we are happy staying at this hotel and we will consider to stay again if we visit Ipoh in the near future.
Hotel Feature Tip : Ask for room at 10th floor above because it is a newly refurbished room.

Value for stay. Rooms quite comfortable. Clean.
The car park is a little bit cramp and it cannot fit in many cars.
Location of hotel is excellant with food court just the opposite and some of the famous dim sum restaurant is just within walking distance. Although the hotel car park is small and cramp, there are many open car park around the hotel. Room is spacious although the facilities is rather old. Service is good.
Restaurant Tip : Two of Ipoh famous dim sum restaurant is located just behind the hotel, a 3 minute walking distance from the hotel.
