This hotel location is quite strategic for most of the places in Ipoh town but it is not very easy to locate it. The drawback of this hotel is they do not provide non-smoking room. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel is ok for stay (but not for single/solo woman).

Clean room and especially bathroom; bathroom fully supplied with toothbrush, magnifying mirror, hairdryer, toiletries, etc. for two persons; wide screen LCD TV; free wi-fi in room; in fact anything a 4-star hotel would provide you but at 2-star price.
Locking/unlocking mechanism of safe in the room was not working; pillow a bit soft; staff rather shy.
We were expecting rudimentary facilities for the price we paid but were surprised at the items and facilities provided.
The hotel is situated in a quiet sector of Ipoh but is only a 5-minute drive away from the busy town centre.
The wi-fi in the room works perfectly but we had a problem with the locking/unlocking mechanism of the safe provided in the room. Coffee and tea sachets are provided along with the electric flask for boiling the water.
The pillows provided are on the soft side. The airconditioning works well and the water pressure at the shower head is good. The hot/cold water mix system works as required. Towels and linen are clean. The bathroom fittings show no stain at all.
The staff at the reception are rather shy but are helpful when assistance is sought.

The reception staff is quite friendly and helpful.
Room is clean.
I find the standard room that I stayed is a bit small. The breadfast is not that great.
The location is not bad. There are many eating places within walking distance. We had tried the steam boat buffer and the famous dim sum and chicken rice during our two night stay. Though the room is a bit small, it is very clean. However, the breadfast is not so great. The reception staff here are friendly.
Restaurant Tip : Dim sum at Foo San Restaurant is fantastic and the cost is reasonable.
