I was looking for a relax drinking area and one of the staffs introduce a great pub. I would say they are very helpful in introducing you around Ipoh, getting around and things to eat.

The reception staffs are friendly and helpful. One setback point, the wall of each room wasn't strong enough to hold back the noises came from outside my room(mainly from the corridor).

This is my first time staying at a Tune hotel. Upon check-in, a red drawstring bag with a bath towel inside was handed over to me.
The room is clean with AC and ceiling fan. TV in the room was not working.

Simple Place Suitable For Those With Less Luggage

Tune hotel is a place for basic accomodation. Due to room space constraint, excessive luggage & shopping bags will have to be placed on the floor & this will cram up the room. Receptionist are very polite. Security is good, with a security officer on duty & cctv on every floor. Room card key is needed to scan inside the lift before ascending to the required floor. The not so plus points is you will always hear doors slamming from other rooms & voices from neighbouring rooms, especially kids since they make a lot of loud noices. If you want towel, you pay. If you want tv, you pay. If you want air con, you pay. Even if you want wifi, you still have to pay. This hotel adopts a new type of concept which i feel instead of being closer to the customers, it becomes a purely business type of relationship. So it is important to visit the hotel's website to view the "Add Ons". Tune hotel will definitely be considered for my next trip but will not be my priority. Because i am still recovering from the shock of "Add Ons".

Clean and Comfortable Hotel

After reading some pros and cons from others, I realise it depend on how you book the room, can get different package from the right agency.
I love the hotel at my first sight. Nearby with supermarket, can get groceries easily. F&B is within walking distance. Is convienient for sole traveler to stay. Is worth for what you have pay, although TV & Internet is not inclusive when booking. For my stay in the hotel, my air-con is inclusive even though is only for 12 hrs, is sufficient for staying in the room, cos there's fan available. Some may find it cold if the air-con is on for the whole night.
I'm happy staying in Tune Hotel, is my first choice for my next visit.

Modern minimalistic bare essentials
Clean comfy beds with lots of space, awesome hot rain shower with clean toilets. Adjustable air conditioning and ceiling fan is a plus

Staff was quick as they can be with 2 ppl running the front desk and the whole operation seemingly. I found it surprisingly pleasant in the end. Initial reviews complaining of the size of the rooms wasn't a point for concern as it was more than enough for sleeping and relaxing for a short while.
Hotel Feature Tip:
No towels toiletries or fridge. Whenever possible bring everything I your own. Hair dryer provided though.

Cons:
Noise every night from Karaoke bar of "Restoran Pusing" just opp the hotel. This is because the window seals in Tune Hotel is very poor to keep the noise out.
Bath room occasionally floods probably due to blockage from below but not serious

This hotel is probably the most secure I have stayed in.
