This is probably the only hotel in Bandar Baru Permas Jaya requires guest with key card to enter the hotel. I like this security feature bcos I feel safer. Even elevators require key card to go up. Location is perfect as it's 1 minute walk to Jusco. Highly recommended budget hotel.

Everything is ok, except for the bathroom. When you shower, it wets the floor becoz there is no shower screen. It is a drawback to me.

Hotel in a great location for shopping

It is nice and convenient for a night's stay. Shopping mall is just a stone throw away. We got the deluxe triple room. It was good enough for three persons and has a window. What we liked was the proximity to Jusco especially if you are there for shopping. This area is comparatively quiet and less crowded, you can "jalan jalan" at leisure in the mall.
Travel tip:
There are many eating shops nearby.

Deluxe Twin room is small

Hotel is in a good location but we found the deluxe twin room too small. It does not have a window and there is no fridge. Overall, it is acceptable for a one night's stay.
Travel tip:
The Senibong seafood village is a very short ride away - about 5 mins. Very easy to get taxis at taxi-stand outside Jusco which is just across the small street from hotel.

Not much room as it is budget. Pictures are quite deceiving. Non-smoking room may not be available, hence, call way in advance to book.

The room is compact however i got everything that is needed. Permas Jaya is great for business traveller who has business in Pasir Gudang industrial area. You could basically avoid the early morning jam coming in from JB town.
The hotel is next to Jusco hence you could find your grocery needs fulfilled and food outlets are available though choices are limited. Good for short term stay for business purpose.

Value for money, cheap and good. Service is not so friendly, but adequate hotel and price is fair. Hotel is pretty clean and new looking, think just renovated not long ago. Worth a try for those looking for a decent hotel with limited budget.

My family and I came here for our visit to Legoland in JB. Quite satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. The room we stayed in was a family room but a little small but the location of the hotel is quite convenient for dining and shopping.
