Basic requirements fulfilled, but...
cleanliness, location,
check-in at 3pm, no earlier. peak season (christmas), so cleaners perhaps overstretched. wifi was bad. router along corridor cannot reach my corner room sufficiently. speed was slow (less than 512MB). login was a mess (8/10 times cannot login, revert to default router/hotel account to get in). staff didn't specify first or last name, or CAPS properly in password. no face towel in room. tv channels limited (tv set itself only with 26 channels). m'sia and s'pore FTA channels, and a bunch of vision4 channels. no ESPN, CNN, BBC, CCTV, NHK etc. no NatGeo, Discovery, kids channels etc. aircon also not working properly. turned to warmest temp, still blowing at about 18-20deg. no auto option. the staff try their best to do their job, but more can be done to justify a 5star label.

Hotel in best location in JB
Location, convenience and water theme park
Many different things to do for different age groups. Kids like the water theme park. Good for shopping and dining. Also great for family to watch movies and karaoke as all within same building. Check in took long time due to high traffic. Special counter for those already registered earlier but waiting for room to be ready.

Room not met requirement and dirty
Friendly hotel staff
Feel terrible. I am asking a clean room before check in. After check in find that 1 bedroom light spoilt, technucian come after 1 hr. Fridge got spoilt coconut. Bathroom flooded after bath. Disappointed.

Customer service was poor
The room size, the bed size and location
The contingency plan was very poor when one of the lift the serve level 23 to 39 was down . Me and my family need to walk down 38 floor as there was no contingency plan to override the other lift to serve the higher level. All the guest wasted their time waiting fir the lift. No action was seen and the maintenance team was very slow in taking decisive action

Spacious Deluxe room at high floor
Spacious for a deluxe room, facilities and breakfast variety.
Stayed over for 3 nights with breakfast included. Was allowed to booked a room while waiting for checking out customers because we arrived early and not able to check in yet due to full house. Food variety for breakfast was quite a lot. We did tried their dinner buffet, not bad. We feel the room is spacious. All the neccesary room appliances are available too; iron, iron board, kettle etc. We did tried the swimming pool and gym, was good. The only thing we feel needs improvement is the shops variety in the shopping center.

location and food
Check-in was a very slow this time. 2 staff taking care of one guest while other guests were waiting. Check-in staff need to be more alert. Wifi connection was bad this time. Only 2 guests were given access at a time and even when both logged off, I am not able to log in using my laptop. Had to wait 30 minutes and with numerous shutting down of laptop before granted access again. Very, very irritated. Not sure if the mgt reads this, but if they do, pls work on the wifi connection or else, i will not visit again.

Great location
Great location. Connected to KSL mall. Many eateries within walking distance around the hotel. Room was comfortable.

Apartment was very bad
I have stayed in the hotel before and it was good. But the apartment is very bad. Firstly the check in took more than an hour. Plus the lobby aircon was not working. Many people were angry for queuing up so long just to check in. Secondly is the lift. There is only one lift to your room. And its always full. The lift with 6 to 7 people inside will show over load. Then there is the tapping of the card. I stayed on the 32 floor. Everytime some one got off or the lift stop on any floor u will have to tap ur card again to press your floor. I had to do it like for more than 5 times. And one of my friend had to wait 20 mins for the lift at one point. Thirdly the rooms are normal. Not very clean. Floor was oily. No wifi. Lastly if you want to stay at ksl go for the hotel. I will never book their apartment again. Its not very cheap anyway.
