Children at the Sofitel
The Sofitel does not charge children under 12 years of age if they are staying in a room occupied by parents and using the existing bedding. This is limited to one child per family, however, and additional fees will be charged should parents require a rollaway bed or cot.
For children 3 years and below, breakfast is complimentary. For children between the ages of 3 and 12 breakfast is charged but at a special children’s rate, while those above 12 years of age are charged the same rate as an adult.

Friendly Staff on check-in and also at the restaurant and bar.
Clean and newly renovated rooms.
Meals at the restaurant was pricey.
It is unfortunate that the Japanese restaurant does not open on Sundays.
No cakes on display/menu but may request from the kitchen if it's available.
Distance was ideal, just about half an hours drive from Singapore. The hotel is great for families with kids and teenagers wanting a change from their condominiums. Teenagers would enjoy the ride on the "all terrain vehicle". As for dining, one may wish to explore the nearby town restaurants at Kulai for the local cuisine.
Restaurant Tip : Check out the local food at Kulai, about 10 minutes drive from the resort.

Food is nice.Children Pool is good. Room not bad as well. Customer service quite friendly.
F&B service is worse. Room toilet is not so comfortable. Food is too expensive yet nothing special and don't have many choice.There is something wrong with the bed frame too. The sounds from the bed irritate my babies from their sleep. They really need to improve on that for sure. The most important part is, our holiday is like nothing special. Nowhere to go in the hotel.

Services provided are generally good with friendly staff - at the service counter, phone operator etc. On check-in, staff allows early check-in is really a present surprise. Will definitely return.
Tennis court needs some maintenance. Bowling alley is also a draw, equipment may need some maintenance to work seamlessly.
Hotel under refurbishment and renovation, thus a bit noisy and understandably untidy at some places like the facade around guest rooms.
Dinned at both the Japanese and Chinese restaurants for dinner and lunch - food quality good to moderate. Also, breakfast at the "Ishiwari" (?), fairly good quality. Supper (snack) at the bar/cafe - moderate. Used a number of recreation facilities - tennis court, recreation centre - fairly friendly staff and service.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : For golf, due to a golf event at the Palm golf resort, Palm Vally golf course is an alternative for me to return to Mecure Palm resort.
