1) Very near Holiday Plaza
1) Late check in - 2pm
2) Bed is springy and definitely not comfortable
3) Room looked old and in need of revamp... the bedcover looked disgusting
4) Carpet is definitely old and damp
5) no complimentary free mineral water
Mutiara Hotel is located very near to Holiday Plaza. It is a good location if you wana shop around there. However, it is not really worthwhile for the amount paid as the room is not that good. One thing I hate about is the late check in. We can only check in at 2pm, though it is a saturday but is a non-peak period.
Next, the room looks old and in need of revamp and does not come with complimentary mineral water. The carpet is old and damp.
Lastly, the bed and pillows are not comfortable. Bed is springy(had backache the next day. The bed cover is dirty & ugly (feel my body itchy after laying on it).

Efficient service and no problems.
Hotel is a little old, but they compensate in other ways.
Stayed one weekend night. Easy to find and to get to. Efficient service. Rooms a little dated but the hotel makes up for it in other ways. Breakfast was satisfactory. Compared to to other hotels of a similar standard it was good value for money. I would stay there again.

good location, staff spoke good english and very helpful
really nice rooms, breakfast had good variety, quite tasty. good views from up high. room service meals were really nice. staff were helpful and spoke good english. promptly called you a taxi that used the meter. organised a limo for us to changi airport, reasonable price (this was much nicer than the taxi over for the same price). right next to the holiday plaza shopping mall.
