Simple and nice hotel

new york hotel is a nice hotel. the hotel have nice view especially in night, clean and also comfortable. the room is large and decoration in room satisfactory. the facilities of hotel including the swimming pool, gym, sona but they are quite small in term of size. the foods in hotel also is satisfactory and variety of choices. the location of the hotel is convenient since it is near to the city and restaurants. it is suitable for the travelers or visitors from singapore to stay since it is near the immigration check point.

So disappointed upon checking in at 5pm was told room not available at the moment and there's no queen bed as per requested. Was told to wait abt 20mins. Waited for more than 40mins but none of the staff get back to us. The restaurant b'fast horrible

with so many floors and rooms on each floor, only 3 lifts to service the guests rooms. the wait for the lift can be quite exasperating. my 5 y.o boy looked down from our room on the 17th floor and saw the swimming pool. Dangerous!!! should have better safety features...otherwise, room is big and spacious, good for small kids to roam abt. hotel breakfast a bit of a let down. we arrived ard 10am, and most guests would have finished by then. therefore, the tables are left uncleaned. we had to 'clear' a table for ourselves, and by the time we finished our meal the mess was still not cleaned up. Disappointment.

Great hotel with great location.

It was a wonderful two nights stay. We booked 3 family rooms because it was 11 of us ( 5 adults and 6 children aged between 3 to 11 ). I called the hotel a day before my arrival to check wether they receive my booking because it was quite last minute. I spoke to a staff name Wani, she was very friendly and efficient. I told her we are traveling with many children and might arrive late for check in ( after 7 pm ), without me asking she offer me the connecting rooms and try to put all the 3 rooms just next to each other. I was very impress when I reached the hotel on the day of arrival, it was 8 pm, everyone of us was tired and the check in process was completed within 10 mins. All my request was arranged. The rooms was big, clean and cozy. We get the 17 floor, the view was fantastic. A comfortable stay for all of us!

Comfortable and Good Service

Location is in the middle of Johor, Easy access to Singapore & Legoland. Room is clean and spacious. Service was good. The lifts was pretty slow and at the end of our stay 2 out of 3 lifts broke down. The breakfast was pretty limited and a bit tasteless. However, there's plenty of restaurants and stalls nearby to provide food. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come here again.

The room rate is good big and nothing in it. Too big with nothing in it. The check in staff is rude and slow. We request for a room without smoking but the room have the after smoke smell in it that turn me off.
