the monkey in the cage was quite amusing

Slightly better off than the monkey in the cage. There was noise pollution from the all night karaoke. My cottage room was used as a storage for a double decker. And the gate is closed all day. You have to make IDD call to the hotel just to get them to open the gate!

Too long for a 3D2N stay

Very inconvenient to getting in and out of the resort as you need to call the customer service to help you with opening/closing of the entrance gate.
Though room is big, but have small window and lighting is deem - does give guests a feel of suffocation.
Food is tasty but is very costly @ RM40 for a plate of mini BBQ dinner set which has a small portion of chicken and lamb meat plus some overcooked vegetables and rice with soup and drink. Felt this is very overpriced.
Generally, staying one night here is more than sufficient. The resort offered spa services which is of good value - worth a try.

This is a good place to relax if you want to get away from crazy city life. But this resort is situated in a far far far away place in Johor and we thought we lost our way. I can say this is a good hotel for its quiet and peaceful surroundings

i can say this hotel is good for the quiet and peaceful feel but it is way too far from main johor central. suggest you to get a car as it is inconvenient to go out o the resort

A lovely secluded get away

To be frank, the place needs a little love in terms of maintenance at the common areas, like trim the shrubs, grass, plants etc. And some new paints needed at some areas. But no matter, it gives me and my family a rustic, village feel nevertheless!
Booked the terrace cottage. I thought the bed should be the nice posted bed, but it was the bunk type. The TV was not working, because the antenna got ripped from last night storm. And in their haste, they forgot to replenish the free tea/coffee on the counter.
Approached the staff and immediately he recommend me an upgrade to the suite for additional MYR$30 only! I grab it and he brought the key to me w/out any hassle.
The staff were so friendly and helpful and i discovered that they do multiple roles. It gave the place a very homely feel.
My tried the traditional massage and myself the foot reflex. It was fantastic! We book the herbal steam room for the whole family. The experience was really awesome as the smell of the herbs and steam engulfing you was so refreshing after a dip in the cold natural pool.
We had dinner that night and they cook for us the all time favorite Nasi Ayam Penyet c/w pumpkin soup, syrup and rambutan freshly plucked from the trees for desert.
Overall, besides the place need some good rounds of maintenance, the rustic and homely feel gives us a good impression. My 7, 8 and 10 yrs old enjoy that place too for its natural pool, swings, ad just mere walk around the small plantation and garden surrounding the resort.
Recommend for a short, peace and quiet getaway.
