the puteri pacific j b hotel is located in centre of town. just cross the road, there are many food stalls available. also the biggest shopping mall in j b is just nearby. for tourist heading for singapore, the taxi and bus stations are nearby.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the Singapore Causeway,shopping malls,night markets,restaurants and interesting alleyways where traders ply their offerings.
However the hotel rooms are looking tired and very much in need of refurbishing. Rooms with connecting doors to an adjoining suite offers very little insulation against noise.
Good points about the hotel includes an excellent breakfast which has a wide variety of great food and the wonderful staff who was very welcoming and helpful in all ways.

The hotel located in a quiet street of Johor Bharu and is is near to various historical sites. It is also near a convention center and provide easy access to go to the center.

a 5 star hotel that has seen better days

overall its a good hotel although its rather old. in need of a make over. but at least the rooms are in order and everthing is still working. good view of the jb city area from higher floors. service staff were freindly and accomodating. late check out till about 2pm. a lot of eateries and shopping nearby. free parking also for guests who drive. carpark has very bad layout. small and narrow lanes.
Hotel Feature Tip:
if you drive pls try to park at deck 4a to have direct access to the hotel lobby area from the car park.

Hotel was okay. Nothing impressive. Tried to order pizza hut but was told needed permission from duty manager. Near customs immigration and city square mall. Overall a pleasant hotel. A very family friendly hotel. Catered to Muslims in
Malaysia mostly. But there was no toothbrush nor toothpaste in our bathroom. Should have provided. Staff friendly and efficient.
