I stayed at this hotel many times in the 90s when it was the Hyatt. Now well modernised and will well appointed rooms, it remains one of the best of hotels in Johor. Efficient staff, well organised and with fair catering I would recommend this as an hotel of choice

Nice swimming pool and served good Italian food

Room was clean and spacious but car park is a bit far. Quite convenient to town and beach.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Just 20 minutes drive to Legoland and Hello Kitty in Iskander

Easy to get nice restaurants nearby.

An enjoyable stay in Thistle Johor Bahru.
Clean room with good service. Staff were very helpful.
It is good if hotel rates including Free internet service in the room and inclusive with breakfast.
If you don't want to dine in the hotel, just walk 5 mins behind the Hotel you can go to Sedap Corner restaurant which served varieties of delicacies.
Restaurant Tip:
Walking distance to Sedap Corner Restaurant behind the hotel.

Hotel was a bit old and torn....Especially bathroom quality was not good, toilet seat is broken while the tiles are broken and poorly maintained.
Location not convenient....but consider more quiet with nice view.
Very disappointed with shuttle service to Legoland....
Consider it is the latest newest attraction, we would expect at least 2-3 times a daily shuttle service to Legoland, besides, each shuttle only have capacity for 8, which is a bit weird, with such a size of hotel, we would assume there are many guests and capacity of each shuttle should be a little more sizeable...
