Relaxing stay in this hotel is needed especially for a business traveller. Room facilities' condition are average but enviroment and view from inside room is fantastic. More importantly, breakfast that included in the room price is very good where I can have it from western to local meal. Overall rate for this hotel is achieve expectation and will definately come back to stay in this hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Hotel does provide WIFI but chargeable and it's not cheap. For those laptop user must have bring along broadband.

Warmth welcome by the staff, spacious rooms and the newly refurbished toilet, wide array of delicious buffet breakfast,spacious pool and superb jacuzzi, totally complement our stay. Kiddos requested for another stay in here!

a good hotel in general,quite cheap located facing the south chinese sea. a lot of activity ,games and sport can be involved.the food are quite standard and have variation.hotel surrounded by peaceful malay villages selling a lot of traditional food with friendly faces.

I have a wonderful moment while staying at Awana Kijal. The staff very friendly & polite with smile. The location of the hotel also close with attraction place such as Cherating beach, kemasik beach. I love the scenery at morning sunrise from my room & it's become my sweet memory. I plan to come & stay at Awana Kijal for next my trip to Terengganu.

everything great including the foods, rooms and service. large swimming pools together for children pools and with life guard. clean beach and at surrounding area. walking distance to retail shops, restaurants and also fast food (kfc). the shopping mall "mesra mall" is about 5km away from the hotel.

Lovely hotel by a pristine beach
Clean, spacious room with many facilities. Beautiful view of swimming pool and sea..very nice!

Arrived in the evening, checking in were a hassle. As they wanted a printout hardcopy of the Agoda booking confirmation letter. I read somewhere that either a hardcopy printout OR a softcopy from a laptop will do, which I have the latter. But they still insist on the hardcopy,so I was send to the hotel business centre to get a printout but printer was not working. So they decide to let me check into my room and send them the softcopy later.
From the outside the hotel looks old..with the discoloured roof tiles and paintwork.But inside was fine. The room was clean, spacious with many facilities. By the window/terrace was a beautiful view of the swimming pool and sea...very nice! On the left was a golf course, in front was the swimming pool and beach & sea. There are pathways are for strolling along the beach.
Restaurant Tip:
There is 2 Chinese, 2 malay restaurants, KFC, and convenient store within walking distance..in front of the hotel. Many foreigners and locals dined here at night. The chinese restaurants serve no-pork menu and beers too...many foreigners and locals here were seen chatting and drinking beers. From the reviews I have read before leaving for Awana from KL, seems no beers is sighted here..well I guess times has changed.

generally awana hotel is nicely located near the beach. a lot of out door activities for family. nice swimming pool. Staf esp those are working at the counter are efficent, staff at the nursery are also very nice and helpful.
but, the room is small,crowded furniture, bathroom esp toilet not well maintained.
sign board at the hotel entrance(near the main road) should be replaced with a new one with brighter colour.
