My group was in KK to climb Mount Kinabalu. this hotel was recommended by a friend. Great location in the city centre and next to the shopping mall. It was great that they allowed us to leave our luggage there for 1 night while we climbed Mt. K.

Gaya Centre Hotel is around a 15 minutes taxi ride from the KK International Airport. It is also right next to the shopping mall and across from the food street for those who are just in KK to take a short break. The service staff is helpful and check-in/check-out was fast and smooth. It will also be good if wifi was more readily available - internet in the rooms is only available via LAN and wifi can only be received in common areas. Overall, I had a pleasant enough stay!
