Acceptable for the price paid.
1- centre of town 2-near to shopping malls and also food shops around 3-quiet environment

Overall satisfactory except for the followings:
1. although advertised that parking is available, without making a big fuss the staff tend to brush you off by saying no parking available.
( frustrating)
2. bathroom tend to smell ( need to constantly wet the bathroom floor to reduce the smell)
3. did not get the type of room that I booked.

The hotel is very close to KK City, stone throw away from Filipino market, Sunday market, Suria Sabah shopping centre. Very convenient for holiday goers. There is also a travel agent at the lobby where you can get great tour packages to White Water river rafting, Mount Kota Kinabalu Park, and etc. Great value for money. The only thing I dislike is there is no Wifi available in the room.

The hotel is money valued with super good location, very friendly and tentative staffs. The room is not so big but very good equiped with almost everything one needs. It is sipmlely designed but one feels confortable. However, there are two things that I would like to take it as flaws: one is the breakfast. it looks many choices but it is really few that I like to eat; one is the carpet in the room. It is too old and not very clean. Neverthless, I still willing to strongly recommend this hotel. If one have a mini router, don't forget to ask a piece of internet cable, then you can have Wi-Fi signal in your room.

This hotel is very near the Suria Shopping Mall which is just opposite the hotel.
Their breakfast is kind of nice.
There is alot of taxi available outside of the taxi.
Free wifi and bar provided.
The room is kind of spacious.

Gaya Centre Hotel is around a 15 minutes taxi ride from the KK International Airport. Hence, the location is ideal for those going for a dive in the area. It is also right next to the shopping mall and across from the food street for those who are just in KK to take a short break. The service staff is helpful and check-in/check-out was fast and smooth. It will also be good if wifi was more readily available - internet in the rooms is only available via LAN and wifi can only be received in common areas. Overall, I had a pleasant enough stay!
