Cheap hotel but far from the rest

This is my 2nd stay at the hotel as I need to pass by Kota Kinabalu. Staff is friendly as usual. Rooms are good enough to use for the night. This is definitely a 3 star hotel but a lot comfy compared to the rest of the other 3 star hotels in the area. Food is ordinary.
Shopping Tip:
Suriah Sabah mall is just beside.

Really good location with food nearby and a shopping mall next door. Jetty is just a 10 minute walk away. Market is also just a few minutes walk away. Hotel itself has a tour agency at the lobby. Hotel also provides space to keep luggage.

The hotel was good for what you pay for. The rooms are standard and clean, daily housekeeping & newspaper. Breakfast was alright, got a nice outdoor terrace to eat on but you have to be early or lucky to grab a seat there. The location of it was the best, you have plenty of eating spots around, as well as a mall. You can also walk to the jetty where you take boatrides to the islands.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a corner restaurant just behind the hotel, opposite the road - it cannot be missed. Called Little Italy. The food is amazing and cheap.

pros: This is my second stay in this hotel. My wife and kids like the location and hospitality, easily accessible to nearby food courts and major shopping complexes.
cons: lack of wifi services in guest rooms which even a lot of small hotels and lodging houses are providing to guests.

I stayed with my family for the first 3 days. The buffet dinner was great with fresh seafoods. In the New Year's day,My daughter won the first prize 2 nights Princess room at P level. So we cancelled the other hotel for the last two days.
We are very lucky and will remember forever.
