Best location with superb service

The hotel was very clean and the service was fantastic. We had our itinerary planned to the last detail but followed the suggestion of the hotel staff which turned out for the best -- the staff were all warm and very helpful in managing our expectations about KK (they recommended we get more value for money by going to another grocery and changing our early morning job route to a safer area).
Our room was spacious for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. The room was also clean with all the necessities available. Wifi connection in the room was a bit weak but this is compensated with 2 available units for free use at the lobby.
In a nutshell, we loved it at Hotel Sixty3 and will definitely book here again when we return to Kota Kinabalu.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Tunku Abdul Rahman Park is a must-see. It's very accessible from the hotel which is just a 5-min walk to the ferry + some 20-min speed boat ride to the island. Waiting for boat transfers to the islands takes time though so come early and just choose 2 island destinations in a day.
For quality budget food, try Foo Yuen across the hotel and the Vietnamese restaurant on Gaya Street called Peppermint. For fine dining, have some authentic Italian food at Little Italy just two blocks at the back of the hotel.

it is a great hotel for my family to stay in. new renovated,clean and big room.very convenient to go to variety of choices of restaurants nearby by walking distance.we enjoyed the food there.we can go to shopping centers by walking distance too.if i visit kk again, this hotel will be my first choice.it was a bit difficult to find a car parking.

stayed for one night during transit from hong kong. location is great with short walking distant to either suria sabah or merdeka mall. lots of food option available as well.
room is very spacious but looks a bit old.
as it is not on the main street, taxi is not readily available so either walk to main road for get hotel to call for one.
