Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.
We want you to pay the lowest possible rate for your room. If you have reserved a hotel room through Agoda, and then show us that you could book the same room, for the same dates, at a lower rate, that is viewable and bookable on another website, within 48 hours of booking your room with us, we will either match that rate or beat it. Near downtown. Quiet at night.
Room is small. Facilities are just so so, especially the shower facilities are not good. You need to request slippers, big towesl and everything.
The hotel is not so good considering its price. Room is small. Facilities are just so so, especially the shower facilities are not good. You need to request slippers, big towesl and everything. The good thing is that the staff offered to help me send the postcards, since the post office is closed on weekends and I have to leave on Sunday.

Location is good, right above a shopping mall on th 7th floor.
Trendy rooms but lots of bright orange so you sometimes feel you are in the big brother house!
Helpful and friendly staff
The room we had was an internal room, ie no windows - this was a major factor in not staying longer - with the aircon on, the room felt really stuffy, despite being clean and having a modern bathroom.
Was looking forward to staying here based on the reviews, location in Kota Kinabalu, etc. but got there, pulled back the curtains and saw a window which had been pasted over, which backed onto the business centre, ie. no windows. Shame as there are rooms with a sea view but I guess those are more expensive. The room decor was modern but too modern, i.e. lots of bright orange everywhere - almost like an upmarket easy jet - hence the room was not a relaxing place to stay in, but the staff were consistently great.
Restaurant Tip : If you are hungry just go downstairs to the mall - lots of eating places and at least 3 ice cream places.

hotel is in the city of KK and is within walking distance to many food areas and the night market.
Hotel run down, staff not very helpful nor very helpful. Would not stay here again.
The hotel itself was quite run down. There were many maintenance issues within my room itself which should have been taken care of before allowing patrons into the room. For example, the shower head holder was broken off and the shower head and cord was simply dangling there. I then asked for a change of room, and the reception said they would send maintenance. The maintenance man was nice, however was taking a while, which i then asked the reception again for a room change, which they denied without giving me a proper reason. In addition, there was very evident mould around the edges and seals all around the bathroom in the room, and the glass shower barrier seemed like it had not been properly cleaned for a very long time.
The hotel staff did not seem very knowledgeable. I rented a car, and asked the concierge where i could park my car in the building (hotel is part of a mall), and the guy was unable to help me. I ended up finding out myself that the mall had a carpark, where i could get a discounted rate after validating that i was a hotel guest. I also asked staff about things to see around the area, and was basically told there wasn't anything to do in the city. I ended up visiting a Malaysian Tourist Center and obtained proper information. I would definitely not stay at this hotel again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you rent a car, street parking is much cheaper than parking in the mall carpark, and street parking is usually free between around 10PM to 8AM. renting a car will allow you to freely roam the island as you please, and is fairly cheap, and as the island isn't very populated, roads aren't as hectic as a larger city such as KL.
