Worth paying extra for Ocean View room

We booked at City view room, then when got into the room, we decided to pay extra for Ocean view, which is much better for only RM35.
The pool is small and there is fishy smell from the fish market opps. Everything inside the hotel is overpriced, dinner buffet was only ok. Breakfast was not nice and cost over RM 50.
Not a 5 stars quality hotel.

Close proximity to eateries, shops, night market, airport. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Friendly staff, my only gripe would be the poorly designed shower block which may lead to a rather wet bathroom floor. The low ceiling in the corridors plus the aforementioned water issue gives off a muggy moist odor. Other than that, a consistently pleasant hotel.
