very big resort but far from town
very good swimming pool, very big beach & fantastic view

Nexus hotel is an good one for family with kids, our kids love playing at pool very much. beach is absolutely long & with white sand, but it may not be suitable for swim or surf as we found hugh jelly fish on sands and it may hurt you.
the breakfast is so so, not many choice. but the staff all around the hotel are nice & good manner.
we saw the big lizard all the time during our stay, they are cute & no harm to human.
the room is very neat & nice. however the air con is very cold even we tried to adjust to lower temperature, seems it's malfunction.
only 1 disadvantage of staying here is the transportation cost, every time we go out, we have to take taxi or meet hotel shuttle bus schedule (shuttle bus: MYR24 for adult (single trip), taxi: MYR65 per trip), the shuttle bus schedule is only up to 15:30 with return at 19:30. every time we have spent MYR65 for coming back.

Good atmosphere place

Beautiful environment, beautiful beach, room just fare and OK. the staff are nice. restaurant are nice atmosphere. just really bit far to the town. i didn't check out is there lot of shutter bus to town,cos i have free pick up tour and want to stay more at the hotel and enjoy to walk and leisure there. wish can spent more time to explore more advent with the hotel. hotel i saw some advent that run by the hotel on the board ,sound interesting.

Good Hotel with bad service

In our 3 nights stay,we did not have pleasant stay already.
We experienced;
- toilet clog and water leaks all over the master bed room in our parents room.
- other hotel guests with luggage tried to open villa 106 claiming that they are offered with that room.
- power outage with no advise and create panic to my parents and bad sleep on a Sunday morning to everyone in 3 villas.

Great place for a getaway from hectic city life
Nice beach, cosy room, great facilities!

This my second time staying at this hotel. Overall it was fine only a few hiccups during checking in where we have to wait for 4 hours for the last room. I managed to negotiate with the manager, I requested for a free one-way transfer to One Borneo, and he agreed. That should be the way, where both parties are happy!

Great service, beach resort

We were in Sabah during Chinese new year. After Kinabalu climb needed some beach time. Three islands were overcrowded by tourists, so we came to Nexus. It's located 30 mins drive from KK. Resort facility is bit outdated. Staff are so friendly and efficient. Music band is available during dinner time.

Nice Beach nice resort but bad management old building ! Sleep half way no electric ! Dirty pool ! Food is so so but must try the spa ! overall is nice palace for honeymoon .

nice and very relaxing hotel

The hotel is clean and there are lots of activities around. Spa is excellent and the restaurants serve nice food. However, the breakfast was disappointing as there are not enough varieties. There are a few staffs which are unhelpful and a bit rude though, apart from that the service are good. Location is a bit out of city center as it takes about 40mins to get there.

Totally worth the money with beautiful beach, in-room jacuzzi, private pool and friendly staff.
Condition of the room is ok. Food at the restaurant is less satisfying though.

Although some says it like heaven, there still got things to improve, for example the services of the housekeeping. I'd request for 2 more towel and a bed sheet for a few times by calling the housekeeping dept. but the things only sent to my room after 4 hours. The reason given by them was there was no staff around to send those things to me! ????? What a good reason! It's really wasting my time to wait them in my room., while others were enjoying swimming!!!
