Clean and new! Accomodating staff

Slow check in/out. When we were there, there was renovation work and had a head splitting paint/glue smell. But was rectified within a day.

If you like staying in a shopping mall environment, this is a good place to stay! Not all shops are open yet. Give it a few more months and it may be better. However not much night life unless you want to watch movies a lot! As for a convenient location to town and other activities, this is not the place to stay. It takes quite a while to town especailly with the traffic jams!!

Check in was a breeze and the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and with new furnishings, we were given a room facing the mountain. Shopping and dining is just next to the hotel, very convenient.

Novotel 1 Borneo is a newly opened hotel, but it carries the brand well with clean, neat and friendly services. It's located halfway between city centre and major resorts like Nexus and Dalit Bay. Located next to the hypermall, one can basically get most of the supermart supplies, meals, entertainment, clothings etc without having to travel out. There are western food, fast food, HK noodles/cuisines, Japanese food, and even a night club next door. With its free shuttle bus service, one can also access downtown KK if one is keen to explore the town centre and city attractions for wider range of local food and services.
