Various swimming pools to choose from
Dining at this hotel could be better
This hotel is recommended for newly wed couples and families with little children. Nothing too special when compared to other resorts.

Friendly staff and beautiful pool especially in the afternoons for the sunsets
Hotel gym was not good but could use the gym at marine centre which was a good warm up walk to get there
Cost of in house massages too expensive
Would recommend the hotel but would prefer to have sea facing room to capture the beautiful sunsets. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We had a very unpleasant experience on our first night caused by a drunken couple in the room next door fighting and breaking the place apart but the duty manager was excellent and moved us to another room-fantastic service-no fault of the hotel but top points to the manager. Would stay at the pacific again
Shopping Tip : Use the free shuttle bus to town for shopping and massages(a lot cheaper and good). Also the restaurants on waterfront very good.

Shuttle bus service to City very convenience. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Can enjoy all the facilities within the Pacific and Magellan Sutera Harbour
Welcome drink should be served at separate corner rather than at the reception counter. Lobby do not provide guest waiting area
Very comfortable stay at Pacific Sutera Harbour. 5 min to city center with the Shuttle bus provided every 1-hour. Stop over at every shopping mall where you may shop n eat the local food. 10 min to the airport with taxi fare RM20.00 only. Next to the hotel is the nice harbour where you can go out to the island easily, just 5 min ride by speedboat you may enjoy water sport.
Hotel Feature Tip : Beautiful Sunset at the beach

This is our first visit to Kota Kinabalu. A family with 2 kids. The view around this resort is magnificent. Our kids loved the pools and beach very much. The hotel lobby was very spacious with great view towards the sea. The hotel staff and service was good, too. It is very near to the city and to the airport. There was an hourly shuttle bus to the city but there is none to the airport. It will cost you around RM20 to the airport by cabs. We stayed on the 10th floor and the carpet along this hallway including in our room was quite old and shabby. We spent 2 nights here and after all it was awesome.

Wide range of facilities including tennis courts, bowling alley, theatre, gym. A range of bars and restaurants, selling different types of food. Friendliness of staff.
Breakfast was disappointing and fairly limiting for Europaen cuisine
The situation of the hotel on the harbour provides peace, tranquility and great views. It is also a short taxi ride from the airport and the hotel provides a free shuttle bus to the town which runs every hour. The rooms are clean, spacious and well-decorated. We had a room with a balcony which offered nice views over the golf course. We thought that the breakfast was quite limiting for European cuisine for the standard expected of a hotel in this price range. We ate in the Spice Island restaurant; the staff were very attentive and friendly. My wife thought her food was delicious but I had a very upset stomach for 24 hours after eating there. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

The hotels has nice views and facilities; although they were not willing to give us a sea facing room. Good location.
Hotel should run more promotions to encourage guests to eat there at a lower price.
My 3 days stay was good, with nice environment, relaxing pool. Great to know that I can use the facilities at the club. Check-in was smooth and the room was already ready. The staff are polite and nice. It will be great for those who loves to play golf, or take the boat out for diving. But do take note that the stay is quite expensive.KK is a nice short destination with interesting sunday market to visit. The destination is not cheap, but quality and service is above average. However, the trip to 1Bornea shopping centre was disappointing, the shops were very similar to what you can find in Singapore.

Hotel setting, surrounding area, lots to do.
Had to ask to move from the original room as I was disappointed, the furniture standard was in poor condition, there was a large cigarette burn in the balcony curtain and there was a smell. The second room was fine and there was not big deal about moving rooms. The hotel setting is lovely, the hotel amenities are good and tours to the islands through the hotel easy and good VFM. We went for a barbecue on one of the island and snorkelled and there was great food and service. Personnally I decided I would have preferred to stay at the Magellan (a newer hotel next door) but we could eat there and the food and entertainment there was better than in the Pacific. The Pacific is not as good a 5 star as the Megellan but is cheaper.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The harbour facilities for going island hopping and try a barbecue there through the hotel as it was great food and service.

My room faces the golf course. The room is quite spacious, with free internet and 2 free breakfast. Breakfast is huge. Free shuttle buses for internal site and to / from the city. Hotel staff are polite.
Lobby bar services are a bit slow during the night. Staff starts to close before the closing time. Taxi to and from the airport charges RM30 which is pricey for a 5-minute trip. Only a small beach is there but dirty. So if you want to swim you have to use the swimming pools there.
This is a resort - yacht club - golf course - all three in one site. The site combines the facilities of three hotels of the same group, and so you've a lot of choices of where to hang out and take photos. This hotel is suitable for a relaxing stay with family.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to the Waterfront by shuttle bus to enjoy a seafood dinner at one of the restaurants facing the sea. Enjoy the sunset scene if the weather is good. Join the tours to explore Kota Kinabalu. Some say that 10 days are not enough to know KK. Recommended for adventurers and families.

Pacific Sutera - Sutera Harbour Resort combines two hotel resort. So, it has few swimming pools. You can spend two days to visit all swimming pools. What I like the most is the kid's pool. In general, the pools are clean and good for children. But the furniture inside the room is a bit old.

Location, shuttle service, friendliness, ammenities. breakfasts, free chocolates and smilimg faces everywhere. I miss it.
The view from the window was of mount kinabalu but if you looked down you saw an expanse of unattractive roofing. The patio could have done with a wash down to make it more attractive. But this room was a bargain for all that.
I originally had an online booking at a resort a long way from town (half hour approximately in expensive taxi). Immediately I could see it was unsuitable. The cleanliness was bad and there were no ammentities. I checked out after finding the Pacific Sutera online. It is so easy to find things in reviews that put you off a place but for this resort they were mostly good. So I atrrived and immediately felt at home. Had a lovely stay and would like a return visit someday.

Very warm freiendly smiling staff, always ready to answer questions & help out. The food was amazing, the buffets had no much choice & the standard of food offered was excellent. 3-resorts in-1, with the Pacific Sutera & Magellan Sutera near each other. In between was the Marina Country Club. This meant that as a guest we could use any of the 3 resorts, pools, resturants & bars, & charge to our rooms. Convenient, first-class facilities & very close to town
Nothing .. I loved theis place & will definitley be back
Very warm friendly, smiling staff always ready to answer your questions & help out. Sumptuous buffets with mouth-watering choices. We stayed for a week & every single meal both buffet & a-la-carte was great.. I think we all put on weight. Pools were great .. a 3-hour Happy Hour every day at the Pacific Sutera Pool was awesome. The 2 resorts, (Pacific Sutera & Magellan Sutera) being "inter-changable", meaning we could go to wither esort which were a 5mins walk or a 1-min shuttle ride apart, made a great change. Plus, being able to Use the facilities at the Marina Country Club as well, and chrage to our room at any of the 3 resorts, meant that we could move arouns as we liked, use 2 Kids Clubs, 5 pools, countless restaurants & bars.Definitely a great family place. This is my third trip to Kota Kinabalu, 7 the Sutera was my favourite place to stay so far.We will definitely be back

Even at sea shore but the hotel has levelling front office and lobby so we feel shore and hill all together.
Feel insecure because elevator doest not provide magnetic key before any level.
Simply and easy when I made RSV with Agoda, and I met all I had informed.
Shopping Tip : There have to a shuttle bus to the best buy shopping, so information precisely correct.

I liked the food and their view although the view was not the greatest. But nevertheless, I enjoyed staying at it.
It's not good enough for a resort for a family with children.
I liked the hotel site sourrouned by trees and grass with a nice pool near the building. Dinning areas were near the bilding and their foods were good at least comparable to the foods in the city.
Restaurant Tip : Had seafood barbeque at a local restaurant called Twinsky, where they charged me for sales and service tax just like the hotel. They provide a different price for tourists.
