Breakfast spread was okay. Hotel lobby was pretty. Rooms were huge, bathroom came with a bathtub. TV had starworld. It lives up to its 4 stars rating.

Good price, but you get what you pay for

The hotel provides free shuttles to a few places in town at 10am, 3:30pm and 6pm, which was good for guests. Free wifi provided in rooms. Some hotel staff quite useful. Hotel rates are low. However, many short comings in this hotel.
One receptionist staff doesn't seem very friendly when approached for help. Room is large but seems quite worn out - one lamp had a dead bulb, don't see the hairdryer (I swear I didn't steal it), the room service didn't do a good job (didn't replenish the bath gel, and their vacuum cleaner was broken, I wonder for how long), the pool seems dirty and the area around it is wet, the breakfast wasn't very appetizing, the hallway on my floor was dark, had a musky/dank smell, and warm (no air-conditioning?), utensils at breakfast and room service was dirty, towel was worn out, sink was semi-clogged, handle in the bathtub was broken, flushing system in the toilet bowl wasn't in tip top condition (could not stop the water flowing into the tank after flushing), the ironing board in the room seems like it was taken from a rubbish dump nearby (and the iron too, for that matter, though somehow it seems to work), the maintenance guy who came to my room seems unfriendly and perhaps angry that I woke him up from his nap or something when I called for help, my room window faced a construction site, and the other side face a dirty river (looks more like a giant drain). I wonder how they get a 4 star rating... i guess you get what you pay for
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you want to go to the islands via the Jesselton ferry point, it is located at the other end of town, reachable via taxi, or the free shuttle bus, or even walking (half an hour). Nothing interesting near this hotel (at least I didn't find much in my short stay there)

The hotel staff is very slow in check-in: we had a reservation, but it took 1/2 hour to check in.The best part is after we check in , and go inside room is actually not ready yet still got beg inside . and we wait again and again ..

I only stay at this hotel to redeem my points before expiring on 31st december. Aircond was not cold even at high setting and coldest temp, ceiling fan was noisy, tv reception was very bad you could hardly see anything no point of having flat screen LCD tv. Buffet breakfast was bad and they dont refill it was only 9am. All the available tables were dirty and we have to ask them to clean them so we can sit. It looks like theres only 2 person handling all the service. When i first checked in, my room card didnt work and i have to go back to the reception while my friend stayed in front of the room with my all our stuffs. And yes we have to carry all our stuffs on our own they didnt even offer to bring our bags. Swimming pool was so freaking small dont get deceived by the picture on the website. When we went to the swimming pool theres 5-7 kids swimming and it was already crowded so we decided to go back to the room and went out to the city instead. It was dissapointing I should have stayed at another hotel to redeem my points. Well you get for what you pay for.

It was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The lobby was well decorated to theme with the holiday season. They have free wifi so it was convenient for us. The rooms were well equipped with all the necessary ammenities. The break fast spread was ok but could use a few additions like the cereal area had only 1 choice ... most of us would atleast prefer 3 types.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
For avid golfers ... this is a central point to most of the courses.

i was stay there 3days with my boyfriend .. there have lots of taxi so no need to worry about transport and it at city center so have shopping around the hotel .. i like their hotel service and they foods its very nice exspecially their buffet bbq dinner .. very nice and cheap .. worth it ..
