Golden Jail for Parents, paradise for kids !

You could be anywhere in the world , it is a beautiful resort totally lost with a great garden and really clean rooms without any particular charm and all the services required, but except breakfast (great by the way) nothing is free everything is really expensive (35 euros for a buffet when you can eat in the country for 2 euros, 60 euros for manicure and pedicure more expensive than in everywhere ...) . After that, the beach is big but it takes you 10 minutes to reach the beach from your room and no real interest no snorkeling at all to do and the sea is not beautiful compared to lots of place in Sabah ! The main point is that you cannot leave this golden jail and thus won't be able to visit Sabah at all, so why come ?

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days and could have stayed longer, it was very relaxing with nice pools and the beach in front of the hotel. The staff were nice and friendly and brought water out to where we were laying in the sun regularly during the day, they were even walking round with melon for guests to eat. The resort is large and basically is split into 2 with one pool for each side, there were always life guards watching the pool and the pool had a nice children's area with slide and cover so it is kept a bit cooler. Only downside as a couple was that there were lots of families with kids there, so although it was nice and relaxing it could have been a bit quieter.

A variety of facilities, including gym, swimming pool, badminton, table tennis, kayak, even mahjong were available! We had meals in different restaurants and the price was reasonable. The sunset at the beach was amazing! Will recommend friends for sure.
