It was a great stay in shangri la with my family. I'm the kind of person who have high expectation towards hotel during my travel and shangri la didn't not disappoint me at all. Indeed I was very happy about my stay in shangri la particularly the excellent service and great facilities they have. This hotel is definitely going to be my top choice in the future if I'm going back to Sabah.

we celebrated a special occasion and the hotel took care of us, making us feel special. everyday, staff had a smile on their face and greeted us as we walked by. it was nice to be surrounded by wonderful service who made our vacation relaxing. the hotel also organizes well-planned activities and has great facilities and amenities for us to enjoy.

From the moment we arrived, till we left, all of our needs were attended to, in a timely manner by the friendly staff. The resort facilities were well maintained and there were always staff on hand to answer all our needs. I was very impressed with the child-friendliness of the hotel and the efficiency of all the staff. Fantastic location, great service, great food, all in all a fantastic holiday for families.
Hotel Feature Tip:
I wouldn't recommend this to property to people who don't like children, as there are children everywhere.

The room is old.
The check-in experience was bad. The key was not working and the room is far away from reception counter without telephone in the corridor. need to walk long way back.

We loved our stay at the shangrila. Everything was organized to perfection. Travelled with my little one and needless to say she had a an excellent time whether it was the fun slides at the pool or the food which was simply fantastic!! Will definitely come back again!! Kudos to the live band as well..

Very pleasent staff and friendly, great room accomodations and views. Shops and activities on site; alternative resturante and food varieties. greta for families and small childeren. beautiful nature and sights. Many available tours and guides. close to the city and the airport ( 5 min. away )
many things to do within the hotel and in the city with a night market for tourists to see.

The hotel is very comfortable and relaxing. The beds are comfortable and the jacuzzi is amazing. The customer service was excellent and there are many varieties of food at the breakfast buffet and in the clubhouse. The view at the suite was spectacular . I could see the sea at every angle of my balcony. The sea breeze in the morning was very soothing and relaxing.
