Great hotel, close to airport

we stayed at this hotel the night before an international flight. the rooms, though small, were clean and had everything we needed. the hotel does not have an elevator, this normally wouldnt bother us, however we had just climbed kinabalu and didn't have the sturdiest of legs.
only other issue, was that with being so close to the airport, the plans fly right over the hotel. it's noisy during the day, however we didn't notice the planes at night ( we aren't sure if they stopped flying or we just fell asleep), but were able to get a good nights sleep.
overall i would recommend this hotel if you need to be at the airport early the next day.

If you on early flight, the hotel is located very near to the airport but quite far from downtown. Easy access. The room was ok but the shower and toilet was the best feature of the room. It was quite spacious and the pressure of the shower was just right. Value for money. However, lack of parking space.

we enjoyed our stay at the crown borneo hotel in kota kinabalu, malaysia. our daughter loved the room (the queen sized-bed with lcd television). she was also amazed in the transparent bathroom. the location is accessible, it is near the airport, park/playground, restaurant, etc. the hotel rate is affordable. staffs and crews can understand english and they are accommodating.
we would definitely go back to this place!

The location is so near to the airport. There are shops so close that we can go down anytime to walk around.

The room is comfortable and cosy. Shops are accessible. Very near to the airport, so don't have to worry even if you hv an early flight departure of 6.30am. Variety of spots to meet fr a meeting.

The location is great and attractive. Nearby airport and short distance access to the town. Walking distance to restaurant, supermarket and food court. The room was clean and no smell. Free wireless Internet access for every room. Reasonable room rate. The staffs was friendly and helpful .

if you want to save taxi fare, this is a good choice as not many hotels in KK offer free airport shuttle
Small room with no escalator
if you travel with lots of luggage, it will be challenging.

I must say that the hotel staff is very helpful! However, the main reason i choose to stay in this hotel is that the hotel is very close to the Air asia airport! On top of that, the hotel provides free airport shuttle, and free western breakfast. Thus, it is very convenient for a traveller who is catching flight.
