Price was too high..better service ..
I must say that we have great hope for this hotel..In "old English style " it's stand..
The price for this hotel is too high, for less money we get a hotel room at the Promenade..and that was a 4 star hotel.
Jesselton Hotel must be better too serve there guests.
Jesselton is not a 4 star hotel..most like a 2-3 star hotel.
Shopping Tip : The best with Jesselton was the sundays , when it was the Gaya market on the street.

Personal, comfortable, value-for-money, central
Restaurant menu unimaginative - it was once removed from fast food and you can get that anywhere!
Returning to KK after forty years was an interesting experience but the Jesselton kept me anchored between the 60's and the 21 st century. Old-world charm and hospitality amid congested streets never built for more thna the odd car!
Restaurant Tip : Try the Ocean restaurant for excellent seafood!

Central location in the heart of the city, well
maintained old atmosphere and attentive people.
At the restaurant, they served what I didn't ask (I asked to remove durian ice cream instead mango one, but they served durian after removing mango!)
The receptionists are kind enough to make arrangement for Kinabalu climbing even though last-minute decision. They recognise me quite well and have had a comfortable time with them.
On Sunday you can see street market just in front of the hotel, which was really convenient.
