Excellent location with a great view of the ocean
Great location, lovely facilities and amenities, including a variety of restaurants

we were fortunate to be able to stay at the upgraded presidential suite. it had a lovely view of the ocean. the hotel had a variety of casual to fine dinning and a club on site. it is also within walking distance to the harbour to get water taxis to the surrounding islands. it was a few miles from the night market and shopping area.

We had really good times at this hotel. Concierge made our itinerary well. There were nothing waste of the time and we both spent some quality time over the holiday. He called for us everywhere, tour desk, driver, spa, credit card company. He works very hard.

An excellent hotel with very efficient and attentive staff. The facilities are first rate.
Wireless internet in the rooms would be welcome.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Kinabalu National Park & Poring Hot Springs is an enjyable day out, if rather long.

hotel was decent. room was a really good size, nice bathroom. no in-room wifi, although internet access via a cable was available. door to the room didn't have great sound-proofing so on occasion was a little noisy. room windows were directly above the entrance facing the golf course, so view wasn't great. room service food was decent, as was breakfast buffet. pool area was really nice. good for kids if you have them.
overall, a decent hotel. not 5* but then the price wasn't either.

WE have just had the most wonderful winter holiday at the Pacific Sutera Staff hotel facilites and food were all wonderful Thank you everyone
Shopping Tip:
Suri Sabah Shopping Mall was well worth a visit A game of Ten Pin Bowling at the Sutera is a must

If your are staying in the city for a few days, this is probably your best choice. Good standard and the the people working here is very very helpful, compared to other hotels in south-east Asia.
