excellent location which just take 5-10mins taxi / shuttle ride to the town centre. meanwhile you can still enjoy the relex and quiet enviroment. room is tidy and has enough space. has its own pier, easy and convenience assess to islands. has shuttle to and from the town centre.

Nice place for family vacation

Stayed in Magellan, Pacific and Hyatt Regency in one trip, 2-3 days for each, and will rate in this order for these 3 hotels, from best to worst. Basiclly you got what you paid for. Pacific's facility was OK, staff is friendly, hotel style was more for business. Has a small gym, which the Magellan does not.

Great garden and beautiful rooms

We had there together with my friends. As non-smoking rooms were fully booked then we got a suite. It was great and from bath was possible to see how people play golf.
I liked suroundings as outside territory was shared with Magellan Sutera garden. The beach was not big, but water was clear and was possible to see fishes. The service was friendly and we got very interesting information from concierge where to go, how much it costs, contacts etc. We used very often regular transfer to the city.

Room needs to be renovated

regret the reserved king bed room cannot be allocated as the hotel has big event in the weekend. after "triple" request, then the non-smoking twin bed room can be allocated. we have to move the twin beds into one so called "king bed" in order to sleep with our 3 years old kid together. the room is quite wear & tear especailly the wallpaper and carpet. it should be renovated to keep the right room price.
nevertheless, the buffet breakfast and resort facilities are very good for the relax here.

Great value for money, the rooms were spacious, the pool was great for small children and the harbour formed part of the hotel, which was great for catching a boat to one of the islands and wandering around for fish watching.
The rooms were a little tired and the breakfast wasn't great.

the pacific sutera is located near both the international airport as well as kk city centre. the room is neat and cozy. it is also convenient for island visit as it has its own pier to the islands around. the guests of the pacific sutera hotel can also enjoy the facilities in magellan sutera resort. the most impressive thing to us was the yacht pier between the two hotels because it's just like an aquarium which has a lot of fishes, sea urchin, jellyfishes, crabs and coral.
