Good location, reasonable price, clean and cozy room. Breakfast variety can be better I have been staying in Alpha Genesis for the past 2 stays and are always satisfied with them. The room is clean with cable TV service. The location is good as it is just 5-10 minutes away from jalan bukit bintang. The hotel also has basement carpark for guests, although there are limited lots on first-come-first-serve basis. Guests need to display proof in the dashboard (just request from the receptionist).

+Located in Bukit Bintang Area, around 10 min walk to Jalan Alor & Sungei Wang Plaza.
+Price is cheaper compared to other hotel nearby in the peak season.
+There's 7/11 nearby, and a good food center (especially for those who like Nasi Kandar). +Seems like quite old hotel. The hallway to the room is very smelly (perhaps the smell came from the carpet).
+Breakfast is bad. I stayed here on 1Jan10, which was still considered peak season I thought. I decided to stay here, because the price at other hotel nearby Bukit Bintang was expensive. No problem with the check-in process / staff and the room. I just don't like the smell of the carpet in the hallway to my room. You better go out to find your own breakfast, as very minimal choices available for breakfast in the hotel.
Restaurant Tip : The "Nasi Kandar" in the food center nearby the hotel is very good. Try it out.

close to the main shopping malls very basic room, food was inedible toilet hose broken service poor.
wifi not available internet with adaptor cable cost extra. superior room was very basic, small basic tv the hose on the toilet was broken and it took ages to get fresh towels from housekeeping,breakfast was limited and almost inedible, we decided to eat out at a local hawker stall style resturant where the food was much better then the hotels.
we had a wonderful view from our window of the back of the slum next door.
for the price it was a big disappointment previous hotels we had stayed with in KL were much better at half the price.
only advantage was near shopping malls other hotels near by looked much more acceptable and were probable no more expensive.
Restaurant Tip : near the hotel is a small open air chinese,hawker style resturant it was the best place to have breakfast.
the resturant across the road had free wifi
