The location of the hotel is good. It is close to Bukit Bintang where you can dine all types of food at night. The room is ok and kind of new. The lobby is small. Breakfast should be better than what is served. However, overall the hotel is value for money and is recommended.
Location close to Bukit Bintang.
Small lobby, Breakfast needs variety.

In my impression, the location of Alpha Genesis Hotel in Kuala Lumpur is very good. There are many shopping mall nearby the hotel. It is easy for me to go shopping. And the famous street-Alor just 3 mins walk from this hotel. We can find the food on 24 hours. But the hotel is so old and the bed is not comfortable that I cannot have a good sleep. Overall, this hotel is medium.
1) The hotel is in Bukit Bintang. There are many shopping mall nearby the hotel. It is easy for me to go shopping.
2) The hotel just 3 mins walk to the famous street- Alor. It is easy to find the food.
1) The hotel is old and the renovation is bad.
2) The bed is not comfortable.
3) The type of buffet breakfast is less.
- Restaurant Tip : The famous street-Alor is nearby the hotel.
Wont be coming back to this hotel again.

The breakfast really disgusting. Very few choices and the room was so dirty. Wont come back again.

This hotel was well located at the center of shopping paradise in KL- Bukit Bintang. Despite the hotel's room facilities need to be refurnished, most importantly i'm very much concern about the services provided by the hoteliers. As my first time with A.Genesis, i don't feel any warm welcoming from the front desk. Hopefully the management will upgrade their "software training" program especially in this highly competitive hospitality among hoteliers. Still come to the bottom line, give your guests a feeling of home or at least let us feel like we are welcome to stay in the hotel. In addition, i am a green practicer, hopefully the hoteliers would consider about the green practices for hospitality sustainability. Thank you!

First impression paid the price. The first reception guy was very rude. He probably could not be bothered to entertain me. Very rude, but the rest was memorable. The room service was good and housekeeping was at the optimum.
Very near to shopping places and 5 to 10 minute drive to the main clubbing areas. 10 mins walk to the Puduraya bus station. Remember to get the map and plan.
They should explain the facilities on the pricing so I don't have to go down myself and ask.
- Travel tip : Get a map and plan! Everything is nearby...

Although it is situated in a good location, the price you pay for this old hotel is a bit high. Breakfast is low quality. Staff is friendly and helpful. This is an old hotel - walls are run down and mold traces in the washroom. Housekeeping does not have enough towels for the hotel, so bring your own towels and handtowels. They also do not have queen or king beds, only single beds put together. I suggest Capitol Hotel for a more memorable stay.
Good Location, and decent.
Free breakfast is low in quality, high priced for what it is.

Vi valde hotellet pga det läget som det har. När till shopping och tunnelbana. Rummen var fina och rent överallt. Bra tryck i duschen. Ska absolut bo här igen nästa gång vi är i Kuala Lumpur. Det enda vi saknade var en schyst pool att svalka sig i efter en dag på stan.
Bra läge när allt och prisvärt.
Inte fullt så bra service. Ät inte frukosten.

We stayed in a double room. The bed which was conbination of two single beds had a hard frame in the middle and can not be used as a bouble bed.

If what you want is a convenient location with a limited budget, this may be a good option. I guessed that the good reviews in the past may have been of the time under the previous management.
