Near to town area, needful The receptionist not so friendly, Need to pay for Internet access Frenkly speaking, the first sight when I reached the hotel is renovation. Hotel is almost been blocked at the main entrance. The guest like me need to take aside way to enter to the hotel.
Then follow with a not so friendly receptionist, she was quiet when I asked the direction from her.
When I went into the room, fortunately is good, tidy,clean and needful like a four star hotel. Although the room is pretty smaller than the others, but facilities wise are impressed.
My staying at this hotel is covered with a breakfast, the food is not much, but they are delicious, hot and unique if compare with some high class hotel who even serve the food which already cold to the guest.
For budgeted hotel, Alpha Genesis is meet up of my expectation as well.
Shopping Tip : Very near to Bukit Bintang main city such as the SungaiWang shopping mall.

Cleanliness, hospitality of hotel staffs, locality - easy to get all types of delicious food, walking distance to Sungei Wang, Bukit Bintang, Lot 10, Pavilion....Also near to Pudu Raya where easily an outstation express bus or taxi. As advertised,there is facilities for massage, but lately found out that it`s not the GENUINE type!!
Less choices for the breakfast seved.
Only one choice for news paper - The Star.
Cleaning/renovation during my stay(28~30,OCT 09)
The whole front part of thr Hotel was barricated and water falling from the top.Observed window cleaner outside of my window. Generally, Alpha Genesis is a wise choice for those looking for 3 stars hotel.
Due to it`s locality, it`s easy to look for local dishes just along the same row of the hotel or the next row is Jalan Alor.
Walking distance to Bukit Bintang, Sungei Wang, LOT 10 and Pavilion.
Outstaion express bus station and taxi station - Pudu Raya is not far from here.

Walking distance from Shopping centre, Bukit Bintang, and next to jln alor "food centre" round the clock. Hotel a bit old, breakfast need to add more foods Walking distance to Bukit Bintang, BB Plaza, lot of shopping centre near by. Also the bank are near by too. Hotel is "cheap" but value for $$ we pay for.

They jus painted the hotel , staffs r friendly toilet is mouldy , room has a foul smell , breakfast so so It's walking distant to many shopping & food areas , it's abit too expensive for hotel in tis condition (not well kept)
I requested for high floor when making res but was not given .
Travel tip : Thr's a 7-11 nearby , drinking st nearby , on D right hand side of D hotel , Massage places on the left hand side of D hotel .

clean, foodcourt next to hotel (roti canainya sedap), just 3 minutes from bukit bintang. no need to go to other place, just bukit bintang enough to make us busy. berakfast area too small
no welcome drink according to my friend, he said from all hotel he has tried in KL, alpha genesis is the best. Hotel is small, but clean. Provide with hair dryer which is very helpfull to dry off my son's wet pants (hohoho...). All staff are very helpfull and kind. And the most important thing is location. It's only 3 minutes walk to Bukit Bintang. We having so much fun in Bukit Bintang. After 9 pm, it will be more crowded just like a food festival. You can find any kind of food there.
Restaurant Tip : Try late dinner after 9 pm on street along Bukit Bintang.

location, customer service, air conditioning This hotel has a very good location, and easy access to tourist areas. It is very close to Alor street, which is a food street close by. The front desk is very nice and helpful. However, the room cleanness needs to improve. I had them to change the bed cover because I found there were big blood stain on it. Plus, the internet charge was too expensive, while the other hotels offer free wi-fi these days.

not many choices for breakfast the best thing i like this hotel is about the location, just few minutes walk to Main Bukit bintang road, monorail, food street and many surrounding shopping malls. I stay in Deluxe room which the size of the room is good, with new wooden floor. but the bathroom is a bit smelly. the bed sheet can be soften. For the breakfast, if hotel can provide more choices would be great!
Restaurant Tip : there is food street just next to the hotel, many choices for your dinner!

Very efficient check in,Friendly Staff, good Breakfast from 7am to 11am each morning, Hotel clean. Would be nice to offer the visitors a free tourist map of Kuala Lumpur. but apart from that no other things. We found the hotel to be very good and for a basic hotel very clean and well decorated,we had a deluxe room.Breakfast was good and adequate,The hotel is well positioned for the KLC centre Taxis outside and journey to Airport was 85rm the monorail if about 12minutes walk away. and KLC nearby.as are many other restaurants and supermarkets. We both enjoyed our stay at the Alpha Gennisis and would definitely stay there again. Sir William.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visit Genting Highlands its well worth a day trip.

No fuss check-in and check out. Minimal breakfast, strong smell of cigarettes in hotel lobby. The hotel has everything you need, including an in-room safe. The room we were in was clean, rather spacious with basic furnishings. They have a counter in the lobby for half-day sightseeing tours in and around Kuala Lumpur (which we thought was not worth the money we paid, we suggest you do your own in a taxi).
The only dissapointment was the breakfast. We didn't have high expectations, however, this hotel breakfast was really the minimal. There was very limited options and fruits/fruit juices. Breakfast staff were a bit slow, peaople were waiting for tables to be cleared.

Near to shopping center and food street no lobby for rest or waiting for guest Hotel is located in the good location near shopping center and in the center of KL. Room is quite standard, clean but if provide more small towel for hand dry is more appreciated.Breakfast is OK even though there are no so many items but it is reasonable to price. Hotel rate is resonable.Reception and house maid is good.
Restaurant Tip : There is 1 Korean resterant near the hotel.

Excellent location, clean Lack of interest by staff towards guests and their needs/requirements Hotel is well positioned for shopping and ease of public transport. Reception is clean and bright, it offers value for money but the "deluxe" status for rooms does not reflect this in their decor. Corridors are dark and unclean and feels more like a 2* than it's current rating. Staff lack interest to please guests and a request made twice to open the inroom safe, went unanswered for duration of stay. Breakfast area is small and crowded and choices are limited. With other hotels within this area, Alpha Genesis would need to improve to capture the tourist market.
