"Good value but dated decor"

My Superior One Bedroom Apartment at Ambassador Row Serviced Suites was generously proportioned- a good sized double bedroom, lounge room and adequate kitchen. But the bathroom was in need of renovation and grimey, and stains on the carpet were off-putting. The hotel staff weren't very friendly- either snooty or defensive. And the taxi driver they supplied me with on my exit didn't know his way to the bus station and I almost missed my connection as a result.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Stock up your fridge at the supermarket next door to the hotel. I sells a wide range of reasonably priced international as well as local products.

Clean and comfortable suites

This hotel is very suitable for couple to come for shopping, only transport not so convenient.
When I enter to the room and its very surprise me that the room as what picture show, a small sitting room and mini kitchen.
Like a small family home, not like other hotel just a bed room and wash room only.Good!

Nice hotel but skip the room service.
Great water pressure in shower.

Hotel was nice enough but dinner via room service included cold fish and chips and a wilted caeser salad with a bone dry chicken breast.
Restaurant Tip:
Can't recommend the hotel restaurant.

Great Location but rooms are old and worn out.
Superb location to be near to KLCC

I chose this Ambassador Row Serviced Suites due to its strategic location in town where I can get to KL Convention Centre for my business purpose within 10 minutes drive. Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with the room as it's quite old and worn out. The bathroom with its bath tub was also very old and worn out. Living room has a small LCD TV but the bedroom still uses the small old tube TV.
Piece of advise, don't ever try their burger from room service menu. The beef patty was very dry, taste bitter and not juicy at all, not to mention the dry vegetable garnishes in the burger without any sauce. Cost about RM30++, quite costly to my opinion for a serviced suites and not a 4 or 5 stars hotel. I had also tried their rice noodles with gravy on their ground floor cafe, portion was huge and quite tasty too. Plus the waiters are quite efficient and provides great service! But then again I still feel it's costly for a plate of noodles to cost RM26++
Lastly, from my observation during my 3 days stay there, one of their receptionists should learn to be more friendly instead of putting on a grumpy moody face all the time. She should take up a course on learning how to smile
Given a choice, I would not visit this serviced suite again.

Long taxi ride from the train station, even longer rider to the airport. The rooms were nice with a fully funished kitchen. For a relaxing time we cooked our own meals and lingerered around the hotel. Great place to relax and enjoy the city veiw. Relaxing little spot with open air to veiw the twin towers. Nice laundry room to relax and do your own laundry.

Laundry room is a plus.

Great hotel and perfect location

My stay was pleasant at this hotel. The hotel located at the center of the city. Not far from KLCC. Clean room and clean sheets. It has microwave for guest to prepare or preheated their own food. Parking is easy and safe. But u need to bring your own toothbrush as they do not provide it for guest.

Friendly staff and amazingly comfortable beds
Staff always have a smile for you, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, all facilities are closeby

I have stayed Lanson/ Ambassador four times already. I love going back there because it is so nice to see smily faces and staff who are willing to help.
Mostly I love their beds... OMG the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in when it comes to hotels. The pillows are amazing too and in reality I have lots of difficulties sleeping in strange beds.
The hotel is located in walking distance from nearby shops where you can buy all necessary basic items whilst you are staying there.
The hotel has good facilities like WIFI, sauna, gym, self serving laundry, you can fill your bottles even a shop where you can buy some souvenirs and basic items.
I believe however that the bathrooms need to be urgently renovated and updated.
We used the Day Spas on the premises, but unfortunately we were not impressed.

Try the sauna good shovers there.

The price was very reasonable for last minutes booking. It is very near to public amenities and business center especially klcc.
The staff was also friendly . I had a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for travelers that would have meeting in the city due to its location and convenience.
