Ancasa Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Agoda provide me a very good experience of booking a hotel in KL especially in those near china town area. The room is guite clean and tidy and the entire espically near to shopping mall so it is very convinent. The food there is also very perfect and we all enjoy staying there. the buffet breakfast also extremely excellent

Great location, room & service! Check-in was prompt and fuss-free for our 6am arrival. Front office was diligent and smiley though she was on the night shift. Room was great with the right features, but would appreciate more TV channels. Liked the fact that the room is equipped with iron & board and stocked with mineral waters.

Check-in time is 1400hr.I reached the hotel around 1430hr, yet the counter staff was not able to give me a room yet (In fact only 2- 4 rooms were occupied at my lvl). I waited. Then, a couple came along to enquire hotel rate. I walked to him and waited right at the counter (to stress him). When the couple seems like in thought whether to get a room with Ancasa or not, he just stood there waiting for a reply, holding my room card, not wanting to pass it to me. Finally, after mental stress for 2 mins, he handed it to me. I asked if I can extend the check-out time due to my coach pick-up, he rejected me but offered to safekeep my luggage. On my departure day, I checked with another staff, she extended an hr . I hate it when I see cockroach crawling on the wall, dying in the toilet. Oh man, their cleanliness should be more well taken care of.

In the heart of Chinatown and short walk to LRT Plaza Ratyat station and Pudrajaya bus terminal

Not bad, i've been here before but that was ages ago. The price is affordable and very worthwhile. I didnt expect any luxury treatment and there was none, so im quite satisfied witht this one.

- Customer service needs to be improved, took us more than 30 minute to complete check-in for 3 bedrooms. And one of the rooms is not ready for another 30 minutes. - Love the location as it is near the bus terminal which is less than 10 minutes walking time which is beneficial for old people and its is located near Chinatown where all the good foods are. - Near to Berjaya Times Square & Sungai Wang which is around 25 minutes of walking distance - Travelling up to Genting Highlands is also breeze, takes only an hour.

I like to stay at the hotel which is so nice location..i think is best location in town due to near the Pudu bus terminal station, lrt and the nice famous place in town which easily to get food,drink and stuff..the room is clean and have a nice view from the window...especially nite view...overall is great to stay...have nice stay at there...

Overall, value to stay and need to improve the service minded.

We book a room for 3 adult but were given 1 queen size bed. Imagine 3 adult in queen size bed. My goodness. We had to pay for an extra single bed which had to be laid on the floor level. Quite disappointed....

We family of four, me, wife and 25yo& 26yo kids got tenth floor room. The room was small, but clean with full amenities, such as hairdryer, coffe maker, iron table, but no sandals, no wardrobe. Bath room very clean, bathtub available, water stream was sufficiently fast to give us comfortable shower bath.The Star-line train station at Plaza Rakyat located close to the hotel about 300 meters, so we just stroll along covered lane from there to the hotel. In the afternoon, we took our dinner at Petaling street about 300 meter to the left of hotel entrance. There were lots of street vendors and open-air restaurants at Petaling. Our room has a sofa chair which was very useful to be instant bed by placing it side by side with our twin single bed. Honestly I say we didn't rent an extrabed, this is off the record, you know we were a group of 4 people instead of 2, so the room was over-capacity. In effect we just got 2 breakfast vouchers which I gave up to our kids. Dad and Mum had their brekkies at Petaling area which was just great in the morning ! And cheap too. Wife and kids checked up early because their flight to Singapore departed at 11.10 AM, so they took Star airport bus at Pudu Raya Bus Station (about 100 meters from the Ancasa hotel ). I was alone at the hotel then, I asked a late check out to the front office and they gave me additional 1 hour from its due time 12 AM.About half past 12.00AM, I gave my smartcard room key to the front official, say good bye and off I went to KL Central station by trains. Turn out to be involving 2 different trains: First was Star train bound to the West then transfer to KTM commuter at Bank Negara bound to the South. I have to say to you that KTM commuter ride was very, very enjoyable, I feel like riding on Mercedes Benz E class! Believe me.

Paid for superior room but get a unit a level 3, smoky, got small coachroach, noisy and no bathtub. Request for higher level but rejected due to hotel full book as reason just after check in. However, during evening time, we requested again and this time, we are able to have a nice unit at 13 level. Thanks to the new receptionist that was different from the afternoon one.

Overall our visit to kl was a fruitful one. And our stay at ancasa was very nice. Ancasa hotel can improved better hospitality by encouraging the staff to smile and greet the tourist/guest staying in the hotel. As a tourist/guest in the hotel we will feel more warmth by the greetings. Hopefully my next stay in ancasa will be more memorable.

This hotel is located in one of the best place in KL to go anywhere. The hotel is +4 stars, only is missing a pool to be the best. Good place to stay in KL

i consider the hotel is the best place to stay especially for people like me easy access to all destinations people talk about kuala lumpur all the attractions all within reach from this hotel either you walk or use public transport great.
