Great location, great bed but poor toilet facility

Great location, located just 2 minutes from the main train station of KL, we are attending our marathon run which is just 600m away from the starting point. All good, but the toilet is in the room, and there is no window, the smell air is circulating around the room. No hot water, so we could not make our hot drink in the morning.

When we arrived we were told that our room for 4-person is not available. They offered us a room with two tiny beds until we asked if there's a king size bed. Knowing there are 4 of us instead of offering both the rooms to us they insist we can only take one. N refund the balance! I think tho they were trying to compensate but it jus doesn't work that way. Worse is that the rooms bathroom has no door nor wall! Anyway the remote control for the tv doesn't work and the jacuzzi spurts dirty stuff. A consolation is that the staff is very generous to offer comforters for us to sleep on the floor.

we booked this hotel mainly because its location is near to dataran merdeka, starting point of kl marathon recently. my start time is 4:30am and my kids at 8:45am. with a few major road are closed and limited public carpark around that area, so we decided to stay overnight eventhought we are local.
the location is great. there is convenience store nearby, a lot of food stall/restaurant around the area. so no issue on to get essential needs.
the only drawback is there is no space for you to unload the bagage. either to stop on the road side on the busy road or park your car first. btw, the hotel car park is located 100meter away at another building.
overall, it's satisying stay because it meet our expectation..

Surprise with the super chic interior, modern lighting, new furniture and accessories, etc. It just simply turns an old building into a profitable entity. The restaurant next door is also super cheap and good quality food.
However, I really would like to ask the hotel management as how often they change the bedsheet after each guest moved out? I was the only person in the dorm of 4 people, and I was free to use any bed. How do they know which bed I was using and thus change the bedsheet once I move out? One guy move out before me, and I notice the bedsheet wasn't changed. I suppose you can ask the management to change the bedsheet in your presence when you check-in.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The chinatown is just a few steps away.
The nearest LRT?Monorail station is Masjid Jamek.

Hotel has a great location close to Chinatown. Airport bus stop is 100 metres from the hotel. Bus station is about 500 metres from the hotel.
Staff were poor - more intrested in surfing the net than answering questions. Then not very helpful when asked questions and gave wrong directions. Wifi Signal was poor so internet was very slow (free), fire alarm went off late at night. Lift broke down so had to climb 5 flights of stairs, shower dripped constantly. Had to validate to key everytime you left the room - very inconvenient

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It is still the best budget hotel for those that prefer a comfort and clean room. Since I have naturally adapt to the noise or the sound of train, bus and car so it doesn't bother me anymore. However, I find that it is weird that my room doesn't have an intercom (phone) and I couldn't ask why since I'm in a bit of hurry. Last but not least, I recommend that you asked the counter or through phone for the iron or other services because I try to ask the cleaner and she gave this unhappy face and she gave iron that has someone burn clothe on it. Previously this never happen since I ask them through phone but meeting directly is really unsuitable.

I found this hotel's location is very strategic to the Masjid Jamek train station. This hotel also has a 24-hour restaurant which I believe ease people to find food when hunger comes.
The customer services are very friendly and very helpful. The room service cleaner give the best services to the guest, including the security.
It gives me a comfort feeling to stay this hotel. Feels like a second home during my trip in Kuala Lumpur.
