we stay for three days in the ascott residence. an apartment with three bedrooms. very nice place to stay with family, especially for those who had young children. the room is clean, with modern facilities & very nice amminities. the only problem is: there is building construction on progress beside our residence, that annoying us at night when we sleep.

the ascott used to be a bit old and tired feeling in its fittings and furnishings back in 2005 when i last stayed there. nothing has changed in the last 7 years. they even have bulky cathode-ray tube tvs! the staff are great, always smiling and friendly but after a while that fails to compensate for the aged facilities. shame on the owners that they should use the ascott as a cash-cow without ploughing at least some of their vast profits back into the facilites. the dining room for the "free" breakfast is so small that i only ever got to use it twice during my entire 1 month stay.

we really love the room.so big and nice.and also the bathrooms they are big.if ill go back to malaysia definetly ill be back at ascott hotel..the hotel is so near at suria mall.just 5 minuteswalk.

Good place with spacious rooms with clean amenities and very friendly staff. Breakfast was a bit disappointing though with a split level for brekky with not much available in one level and having to go to the other level to get a decent cup of coffee. Selection for breakfast left a bit to be desired too.
Facilities in the room was great with a shower worth mentioning.

my husband and i stayed for 3 nights/ 4 days in the hotel. the place is complete with kitchen items that i was able to cook which i actually shouldn't have because they have good food in malaysia. i was a little disappointed with the cleaner who washed the remaining cutleries in the kitchen, she simply run them through the faucet. they could've better options for breakfast too! this is just the saddest breakfast breakfast buffet i have tried. the room service food is just as sad. their in house spa is decent and i quite enjoyed it. we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom unit so it is really huge for both of us. the whole place is clean, the tv could use an upgrade but nevertheless we liked it there. please note that they only have cable for internet which was unfortunate because all our apple items (macbookair, ipad, iphone) didn't work we have to run to the store to buy the apple express base station. we had a good stay, the apartment is clean, accessible and the staff are friendly.
Travel tip:
be careful in choosing cabs, some will rip you off. always go by the meter.
klcc is just a few minutes walk away, easy access for food and shopping.
