Location and furnishing. Makes you feel like you are at home.

Service attitude was not as expected.

Generally, the location of the hotel is great, being located in the middle of KL. In addition, the service level was not as expected ie sloppy attitude and all. And room service was not 24 hours. Furnishing was up to standard, making me feel like i was at home.

- Spacious bedroom and Living room - Very courteous front line and service personnel - Very near to shopping centre - Very near to Clubs

- slightly costly for the room, other than that it's fantastic

This is a very fantastic place to stay, whether it's for short stay or long stay. When we step into the room for the first time, we really feel at home and we don't feel like going out. It gave us a very cosy and comfortable feeling. A very nice place to hang out for family because of the spaciousness. Front desk staff were also very courteous and professional, make us feel very welcome. It's also walking distance to KLCC shopping centre, and for those who wanted to chill out at nite, the clubs are just around the corner. It's so convenient. Given me an option, I'll definetely choose to stay at Ascott again.

Nightlife Tip : Give Aloha club a try when you stay in Ascott...

Walking distance to KLCC Spacious room and good sound proofing

Only one free parking. The second car will be charge a flat rate of RM10.

The room is spacious and comfy. The kitchen is clean and well stock with all the necessary kitchen utensils and cutlery. Like the decent hi fi and home entertaiment system. Too bad I did not bring any DVD movies to watch. Free internet connection is a good thought. The requirement of access card to enter the main hotel entrance after mid night is a plus for security. Overall it is one of the best service apartment/hotel I have stayed in.

Size of rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff, great facilities, walking distance to fabulous shopping, restaurants in all directions

Booked a cab on 1st day thru hotel, was quoted 40 RM for what we knew was a 15mins trip & should have been 10 - 15 ringat, we said we'd take meter, cabbie went very long way, took 25min cost 22.60 so we hailed our own cab off street after that. Stayed in 4 different rooms over 3 week period, kitchen utensils differed in all.

Staff terrific on checkin, upgraded 1 bed apt to 2bed, terrific views on 31st floor. had previously booked another apt at end of 1st week & we got moved to another 2bed on 7th, was smoking floor,we asked to be moved ,went to 20th floor still a smoking floor & after air freshener wore off could smell smoke, room also opposite building site & they work all night in KL, so asked to be moved again to quieter floor after being woken at 4am to jack hammers. Went to 28th floor which was great. Only down side was dirty carpets in all apts.

Spacious, ideally located and clean

bad breakfast

Hotel is well located within walking distance to KLCC and Pavillion. The rooms are clean and spacious even for a studio apartment as it is big enough to have a sitting area. However, the decor in the hotel looks dated but this is not a big problem because the apartments are well kept. The toiletries are well stock and are provided by L'occitane. The free internet in the hotel is a well thought off gesture for business traveller. The only issue that needs serious improvement is the complimentary breakfast that was served on the 22nd floor by an independent establishment. Choices are limited and is nothing to crave about. The management of the apartment has to decide if they wish to set up an establishment on their own or ask the current service provider to improve on its quality and choices. I am glad that I am only staying there for 2 nights for the breakfast if not will definitely seek other options

Perfect location near KLCC (Petrona Towers), Delicious food, very comfortable rooms, attentive staff.

Room service stops at 1030pm

Upon stepping on to the lobby we found ourselves endulged with elegance and attentiveness from the staff. The room was beyond expectations. A two bedroom apartment with full kitchen and two full bathrooms surprised us and made us feel at home. We got a take out pizza at the first floor bar around 11pm because room service stops at 1030. The waitress was very courteous and helped us out. The next morning we had an excellent breakfast with the magnificent view of the Petrona Towers. A real treat. The hotel arranged a city tour for us after an early morning visit to the bridge between the towers. We'll definitely go back to the Ascott when visiting Kuala Lumpur

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Be sure to explore the back of the Petrona Towers, just outside the big shopping center. It is full of restaurants and photo opportunities to catch the Petronas. You'll be looking at the east face of the towers so it's best during morning, but come back for coffee during late afternoon to see the dancing fountain.

the roof top swimming pool and sky lounge is very strategically located, giving you full appreciation of the twin tower

the deco is really old, no plasma tv, feel like i am living in a 5 star hotel from the last century

the hotel staff are very friendly, but with so many better hotels around, i dont think i will go back to this one, unless they do some serious renovation of their rooms

Nightlife Tip : all the clubs are around the corner, u dont even need a taxi

The Ascott in Kuala Lumpur is ideal for families. We stayed in a two bedroom appartement with was perfect for us with three small children. The appartment was very spacious, with all the comodities: two TVs, full kitchen, two complete bathroom and a very nice beds. The swimming pool has a very nice view of the Petronas. The building is very well located with eassy access (even walking) to many tourist attractions and enterteiment areas.

Our stay was so pleasant that is difficult to point out any weakness. But if we need to be very strict perhaps the beakfast could be improved.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you want to have a wonderfull view of the city go to the Menara tower. Better that the Petronas.

Thumbs up to the hotel staff for their friendliness. The hotel is also at a very strategic location. If you need anything, you can either go to the convenient store at the lobby or KLCC(across the road) The room was also very well equip with kitchen facilities ( bowl, utensils) and the part that amused me was the hifi and their security system. Overall I'm very happy with my stay

No major weaknesses but the area you can improve is to show manual to operate the dishwasher?

I'm very pleased with my stay in Ascott, Kuala Lumpur. The location of the hotel is very strategic and the best part is, the price wasn't too expensive. What I'm impressed most was the kitchen facilities. I've been to quite a number of service apartment but I must say Ascott by far is one of the best. The fridge was big enough and it comes with a dishwasher. This has definitely brought convenience and comfort to me during my stay. Also, thumbs up to the security system ( access card). The main entrance door will be close after 12am and only residents with access card could enter which is really good. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel

Nightlife Tip : They have very good clubs/bars nearby

Spacy rooms, perfect location, fine service and competitive price package

Could have been cleaner, some stains on the furniture

We liked the place, two bedroom appartment, double bathrooms, nice large livingroom, especially travellign with two young children (1,5 and 3 years), it helps to have room to let them play. Also having a kitchen helps, just to prepare simple lunch and not being in a restaurant again brought moments of calm into our trip. The cleaning of floors and furniture could be better though bathrooms and kitchens were spotless. The beds were comfy but a bit hard, clean and fresh.

Outstanding location but getting outdated. Guest Rating: 7.3

Location. Location. Location. Right across of KLCC Mall/Twin Towers in the heart of KL. I like the service apartment layout as you have a room, kitchenette and living area.

Its becoming a bit outdated. Stayed there 8 years ago and since then the rooms really haven't changed much. For example, old boxy tv's AND they even still had a VCR player! Breakfast is very week.

I stayed here 8 years ago and loved it. Tried it again and have to say was a bit disappointed as the rooms are practically the same as it was 8 years ago. The Sky Lounge has gorgeous views of the Twin Towers ; however, the drinks and food leave a lot to be desired. The detached restaurant in the front of the building (7ate9) is excellent. Funky and chic lounge with great music. Food is excellent.

Travel tip : Go to the Sky Lounge for Sunset to overlook KLCC and see the Towers light up the sky.

Good selection of accomodation from rooms only to suites at affordable prices. Staff are very pleasant and helpful.

There is nothing overall that needs to be improved at this hotel. Any issues were resolved immediately without question.

We stayed in an appartment with a good sized Bedroom and attached Bathroom plus a good sized Family room reasonable dining area and well appointed kitchen. Everything was neat and clean and cleaned every day without problem. A small study area with reasonable internet access also made the stay more pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were chearful and curtious.

good location, spacious, down to earty 5 star quality

breakfast is a bit lousy

It's almost opposite KLCC shopping center and in walking distance to the latest 'Pavillion'shopping mall. It's very much in downtown center. There is the hottest bar/lounge downstairs, wonderful to meet up with friends.

Nightlife Tip : Don't miss the bar/restaurant downstairs. It's very popular.
