Low price, good location, free wifi internet that is fairly quick (3 Linksys wifi routers per floor for good reception), pool, safety deposit boxes at reception Very smokey smelling in hallways and rooms, overall condition of hotel is pretty average, noisey in hallways at night (depending on your neighbours), staff can range from reasonalby helpful to nearly ignoring you This is a good value hotel and best suited to real travellers. If you expect too much you will surely be dissapointed! This hotel is fairly old and no frills, the room had worn furniture and a few tears in the sheets (a few times). For the price it suited us well and we enjoyed being somewhere that is not full of tourists. This also applies to food, there is excellent hawker stall food that is insanely cheap and a fantastic Indian restaurant called "Shaz Curry House" just down the road. Get a nazi lemak, awesome roti nann (after 4pm) and some chicken tandoori, simply the best I've had. Don't expect a McDonalds and KFC right in this spot, even though you'd be crazy to eat there with such good and cheap food all around. You can walk to Chow Kit MRT in about 5 mins. There is a laundry (3 RM/KG) that did a great job. If you walk to the main street, turn left (building has a big Panasonic sign) and look carefully on your left a few doors up for a laundry sign (at the back of another store.
Restaurant Tip : If you like Indian go to "Shaz Curry House" just down the road. Get a nazi lemak, awesome roti nann (after 4pm) and some chicken tandoori, simply the best I've had. We must have eaten here 5 times or more, open 24hrs!!!!

There are no specific to comment on the features of this hotel as we are really disappointed as it is not a good hotel and bad surroundings. More to be upgraded as all features are old. I will not stay in this hotel for future travel to KL. The locations are no good in terms of bringing childrens.....

I really liked the Hotels Room Service and the Hotel Food. We had dinner from Hotel and it was very spicy and just like our home food. Also the night view from our rooms were superb!! In addition to we can shop aroud near the hotel premises till mid night!! I think the hotel doors should be changed, because it's bit hard to open the doors. Also I would like to suggest if the hotel can provide the scales as when we check with house keepng they were unable to give us a one (in case the customer wants to chek their luaggages weights this will be very helpfull) I've been to Hotel Brisdale in 2005 and again I chose this hotel because I liked the rooms. it's worth the money. I stayed with my 1yr old baby boy and my hubby in a double room and my mom and in-laws stayed in a triple room. Both rooms were really good and the room service is excellent... We stayed their for 4 days and during these 4 days we had great time. We were able to get the taxis very easily as well as were able to walkdown the road and got the monorail too.. For visitors like us it's the best place to be. Out side the hotel there are many shops and you can get goods for reasonable rates. I did enjoyed shopping around the hotel. If I get a chance to come to KL, I will select Hotel Brisdale without any second thoughts..
Shopping Tip : Shop around near hotel premises, they have good handbags for cheaper price. I loved walking around the hotel premises many shops were open till mid night

Speedy check-in.Local foods found in abundance in the surrounding area.Public transportation easily available. Poor reception area.Parking a nightmare. Complimentary buffet icpoorly served. Worth for the money.I did very last minute booking.At arrival, my booking was not there. By showing a copy of the booking,I managed to get a room. Agoda has to be more competent.

Close to transport, good staff A good basic room, clean though a little dated and could do with upgrading. Close to monorail. Staff friendly and helpful. Computer use was coin operated and ok for short time. Was in a dirty area of the city with not much in the way of restaurants around.

Nearest Chow Kit Monorail Station is the main point for me stay on this hotel, just 5 minutes walking distance to the station. The area around the hotel is not clean. Not really safety for single person getting out at night. Bad maintenance for room toilet, feeling bad using the bathtub. no WI-FI available in room overally speaking, it is a good hotel.
Very near to the Kuah Town and easy to find the delicious seafood.
It would be better if WI-FI can be available.

Choose to stay at this hotel next time visiting KL will be in the consideration.
The location is quite close to the monorail which is the junction of KL traffic. Breakfast is quite OK but the coffee there is tasteless just like water! Also the quilt should not just use blanket with two piece of clothes covered which is uncomfortable.
Shopping Tip : There is a food market and buy some cheap fruit nearby

Lobby and waiting area can be improved upon I did my booking through Agoda and got the confirmation through both agoda and hotel. I communicated with hotel through e-mail and got the road directives immediately. Hotel is located about 200m away from Chow-kit monorail and Hotel can be seen from the railway station. On my arrival, receptionist was well prepared to receive me with the room type that I have specified in my request. I was given a room in 16th floor where I could see both Patronas and KL towers. Room was spacious and beds were king size. Very good accommodation and value for money. Breakfast was provided on complementary basis on buffet with lots of varieties. Well, hotel does not have a good lobby area and that need to be improved upon.
