The Hotel is situated in a very convenient place. The rooms are quite small but its ok.. Due to high demand the staff are not able to meet the requirements of the guests.

citin is considered a three star hotel but its standard is beyond 3 stars. rooms are very well maintained and super duper clean. staffs are friendly and breakfast was good. the next time im going to masjid jamek area, i will surely book my stay at Citin again.

The entrance to the hotel should be cleared. access should be made for vehicles to park at the entrance as we had to drag our suitcases along the little pathways and this was a little awkward.The ironing area should be fully equipped.Provide the ironing room with 2/3 more irons and ironing boards as there was a crowd lined up waiting for one person to finish the ironing.Apart from the above the standard of the hotel is really good.

Great location but front of hotel hidden by bazaar

had a wonderful 4 days and 3 nights stay at citin masjid jamek hotel. i love hearing the azan for subuh, maghrib and isyak. i was away during the day hence i did not mention the azan for zohor and asar. the bazaar all along jalan masjid india would have been a lovely place to shop if i had the time. the masjid jamek lrt station within walking distance makes this hotel an excellent choice if you need to travel using public transport. many banks are within walking distance - cimb,ocbc being the nearest. and hsbc is just on the road parallel to jalan tun perak. all these put together makes this hotel an excellent choice (if you're on a budget)and overshadows the fact that i wish the person-in-charge (of taxis) had more sense than to recommend to my daughter a limousine that could fit 8 to 10 people when there were only two of us and my daughter paid forty ringgit for a 12 minutes ride (from 8:26 am to 8:38 am)from the hotel to taman duta. when i saw the limousine i said could i get a refund - we do not need such a huge taxi. but both the taxi driver and the person-in-charge(of taxis) would not let us. hence i was indeed very sad during the whole 12 minutes ride. after which i said "what to do" and wrote it off to experience. one can catch a cab by just waiting on the roadside; no need to order one.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Like I mention above, one could easily catch a cab by waiting at Jalan Tun Perak. But if one must order a cab, find out first what sort of cab, ie can fit how many people. As you can see I ended up paying something like RM3.33 per minute. The distance cannot be more than 7 or 8 km. Let's just make it 10. So that's
RM4 per kilometre. The hotel administrators should ensure that their staff have the guests interests at heart. I was travelling on a budget. For forty ringgit we could have a hearty meal for four in Kuala Lumpur.

Superb location for shoppping

Stayed for 1 night at the hotel. Room with basic amenities but great working aircond and water pressure in the toilets.
Service staffs at the coffeehouse were accomodating to request and were patient in managing our order and the rest of the lunchtime crowd.

Very basic hotel with non existent service!!!

is. diy hotel. no service at all!!!! everything i asked to be done was not done...opening of safe, cleaning of room, collection of laundry, luggage delivery....nothing!!!
the stalls that completely block the entrance and surround the hotel make it feel like you're living in a market!!!!
i would never recommend this hotel!
